From the moment I entered the staff could not have been more helpful. I needed to add an extra day at busy season and they managed to sort a room quickly and efficiently. Rooms are comfortable and warm. The barman deserves extra praise for being extremely witty and helpful. They serve a great thin crust Pizza at the bar. However...... More

Location is very close to city Centre- less than 5 mins drive, 20 mins to cardrona ski field very convenient! Also not far from treble cone. The rooms are modern but the room I stayed in - 213 requires the bed and pillows updated. Other than that, this was my 2nd time there and always enjoyed it! I recommend it... More

We flew to New Zealand then Australia last March and April for a holiday and to visit 'relies'. Our choice of places to stay in southern New Zealand was Wyndham Asia Pacific Wanaka. To get to Wanaka, we flew into Queenstown, rented a car (fire engine red Suzuki Swift…a great little car), and drove about an hour north of the... More

Four of us stayed for two nights in a two bedroomed apartment. Pleasant decor, modern and clean with all the amenities required. The staff were friendly and helpful. Do not expect any lake views, but the surroundings and view of the mountains are very pleasant.

The resort has a perfect setting with superb facilities and staff. We spent 7 nights here and it is about one hour scenic drive from Queenstown via the crown range. Alternative route would be via Cromwell where you can take a break and enjoys the fruits and ice cream (assuming you are thee during summer months). The resort itself has... More

My husband and I were spending part of our honeymoon at Lake Wanaka. We are owners of Wyndam so when I found out they had a resort in NZ, I made sure we booked and stayed there. We spent 2 nights in Wanaka and I just wish we had more time there. The resort was beautifully updated and the grounds... More

We took the naked bus from Queenstown to Wanaka for a mid-week getaway. I picked Wyndham as it was a cheap rate, allowed me to book for just the one night and we had stayed in the Wyndham Denaru earlier in the year so knew it would be of a good standard. Check in was quick and easy and they... More

Admission - I have Wyndham time share credits, which I use to stay here every year. However - while I have many other choices - I return here every year and relax in this wonderful, beautifully appointed resort. Great furnishings, well appointed kitchen, good beds, nice little gym and an outdoor spa that is hot even on a cold winter... More

I was running away for my 50th birthday week. A year in the planning my husband suggested going back to Wanaka and have a couple of friends invited and get the presidential suite. It was a home away from home and we settled in. Gas log fire, heated floor tiles, full kitchen, BBQ and hot tub - well better than... More

We stayed for 7 nights in a 2bedroom apartment overlooking the pool area in April 2014. We were very lucky that our stay coincided with the Wings Over Wanaka air show which we attended and enjoyed immensely. We had a hire car and did day trips most days to places like Haas Pass, Cromwell/Alexandria and Queenstown/Arrowtown. Wanaka itself is a... More
