We stayed here recently after buying a groupon deal for two nights which included bike hire, DVD rental, an hours free wifi and discounted spa voucher. We took advantage of each of the extras and it made for a wonderful trip. The staff were extremely friendly, particularly in reception and we're very accommodating when we arrived to check in early.... More

We recently stayed in this hotel, our first Wyndham stay since becoming owners. Wanaka is like a second home to us so we are very familiar with the region. The service at the hotel was lovely, actually it was almost too nice as the manager was called to welcome us! We stayed in a two bedroom unit and it was... More

My wife and I went to Wanaka for a week. We just wish it had been longer. We stayed at Wanaka because it was in the South Island and because we are owners in Wyndham. Loved the location. So close to everything. Although we are not skiers, it was only a short drive to all of the ski fields. We... More

Was enticed by the water slide, found out on arrival that the pool was closed during the winter months so it didnt start out well. However the room was large, and comfortable. Cardrona and queenstown is a short drive away and the the town centre of wanaka is within walking distance (2 km) There was only a microwave and kettle... More

I stayed here with my daughter for one night and wished that we could have spent more time here. The reception area and the receptionist were very welcoming and check in was very efficient. Our room was very clean and spacious with a lovely outdoor seating area. The room also smelt lovely :) We went over to the bar for... More

Just got back from a weekend at Wyndham Wanaka. A very nice place and located a minute away from the hustle and bustle of central city. Closer to the treble cone ski area. We booked a studio (I guess) and it had everything we needed. Although a stove (even a single plate) would have made it just right for us.... More

I'll be honest, we totally booked this place because it had a pool and spa. When we arrived, it had a water slide too - BONUS! Room was a little on the pokey side, nothing exciting, but comfortable. The bathroom window opened onto the guest walkway. It was weird listening to strangers talking while showering. First World Problems I guess!

We were a little hesitant booking something before seeing it as we had did that the previous night and ended up with a tiny room! So we asked to see the room before we booked and the reception girls were only too happy to help! The older lady, Tash and Edita were so great and helpful. The bedroom, living room,... More

My husband an I had 7 nights here for our first trip to NZ, we just had a studio room which was nice & quite big for a studio, they also supply some basic dinning ware & a convection microwave so you can do some meals there. We spent a few days skiing at Treblecone & this was a perfect... More

This resort is set up in an awesome way. I called the resort to let them know I would be coming in at around 10pm. The staff at the resort was very professional and welcoming. Checkin took only a couple of minutes and we were given general directions around the resort. The rooms in presidential suite were exceptional.Main bedroom was... More
