If you want to stay in downtown Suva, be aware that the Novotel is about 15 minutes away by taxi (FJD 10). The setting is idyllic with a lovely lagoon view, but there's no beach at the htoel. They will take you by boat to a beach on a nearby island for FJD 5. The rooms are fine, especially on... More

The Novotel in Lami Bay is only 10 minutes away from Suva but yet you could be in another part of the world because it is literally nicely tucked away. Best thing about this and I recommend it to all my visitors to Suva is your first step into the foyer brings you a glorious view of a cute island... More

This was our second visit here, the location was as beautiful as always, but the restaraunt food was pretty dissapointing, lucky we had a car so we went out to eat,the reception staff wernt very helpful but the lady in the gift shop and the housekeeping ladies and groundsman more than made up for receptions poor customer service. The gym is... More

A modern hotel with not much local character. Unlike many other guests, I was very happy with my room on the ground floor with a balcony, as it were, in the ocean (which is really so nice, you feel like on a yacht:-)). It's true, the room has not been renovated yet but I really do not mind a slightly... More

Have been here many times and have given them too many chances. The food here is pedestrian at best but still demands prices close to $40 for a meal. Novotel should be ashamed to have their name associated with this place. They need to bring the entire operation into line or relinquish their management of it. If they can do... More

Stayed at Novotel and had a good experience - beds were super comfortable and the staff were wonderful. We had a wonderful view from our room and the price is right. Drawback was the 30$ per day for wifi access (although if you join Novotel hotel group you can get it free). Breakfast was good. Restaurant is pretty average.

We spent 4 nights here just recently, absolutely awesome place to relax and the view from the dining room is awesome, the pool area is great, the staff were reasonably friendly, as the hotel was quiet it was really relaxing. The food from the restaurant was awesome no complaints what so ever, the chefs knew their stuff and everything was... More

From the outset I had a very poor opinion of this hotel. As late evening arrivals, a little travel weary we were initially an awful room. It looked like it hadn't been renovated since the 80's and had perhaps been flooded a number of times since. Old decor, broken, cracked, in disrepair, with fluorescent tube lighting on the ceiling. My... More

It is a bit out of the city but ideal if you prefer some peace and quiet. Rooms are not very big for the hotel standard. Checking in was relatively easy. Booked for 1 night but extended for an additional 2 nights. Room floor was dirty upon checking in. But was cleaned the next day. Beautiful view of Lami Bay... More

A calming respite from the bustle of downtown Suva a short cab drive away. Rooms small-ish, simple, clean and with large windows to soak in the beautiful Lami Bay vistas. Seats in dining area must have been designed for very small people: get bigger more comfy ones if you want big boys to relax and spend more on the food... More
