We experienced hassle after hassle and the room had enough maintenance and condition problems to really make us question why we had come here. They seem to rely on having personal attention rather than giving guests accurate information in materials. Which might be fine, except personal attention was acquired only after time investment and the information given by staff or... More

This hotel is a way out from the hustle and bustle of San Juan, and it is completely worth it. The grounds are beautiful, it has its own private island with lots of iguanas where you can swim, eat, drink, play games and ride horses. The pool is breathtaking and everyone there is super nice. I would definitely stay there... More

Las Casitas was the correct choice for our short vacations. Kids enjoy having the comfort as they were at home and it was very relaxing. Employees at Ballyhoo excellent. Coqui water park was so much fun for our kids and for us too. I'm a local and definitely will keep coming back to El Conquistador for short vacations.

The resort was beautiful; it was almost perfect. The check-in staff and other amenities were great. The room service and wait staff at the restaurant were not great. We had an ocean view room which was superb. The ferry to the private island was timely and beautiful. The private island was clean and the wait staff on the island exceeded... More

My wife and I escaped to Las Casitas for 3 days (25-27 May 2015). We don't regret a bit. It was amazing and extremely relaxing! The Coqui water park is super fun, the Infiniti pool is amazing, and the Palomino island is a relaxation haven! The privacy in Las Casitas is a plus and the staff is great! The shopping... More

Fantastic staff, lots to do (on site and off), amazing infinity pool. We've gone here for 4 family vacations, getting a 1 bedroom casita each time - this year we were very disappointed that the one bathroom was only accessible through the bedroom - we put our daughters on the pull out sofa in the living room, so this set... Let me start off explaining my title. We booked at El Conquistador based off of MANY website reviews...boy were we steered wrong. Should have know 1000 room hotel just spells convention business and lack of room details...keep in mind there are 1000 rooms!!! After one day at El Conquistador and changing our room twice...we discovered Las Casitas next door AND... More

Casitas at El Conquistador is a wonderful place to stay, staff is friendly and make you feel welcome. The rooms are comfortable and clean. Pool areas are just wonderful and kids love the Coqui Park. On the other had the restaurants have greatly declined in quality and you will end up paying a premium for a average and even mediocre... More

Every bartender has been great here but Diana and Betzaida were the best bartenders we had. We felt like family! I never write reviews but they deserve it! It wasn't too crowded on Palamino Island, so you really felt that intimate experience
