This is the best place to stay in all of Puerto Rico. It is in Fajardo which allows you easy access to the Biolumenescent Bay and Flamenco Beach on Culebra. Both voted top ten in the world! The view from this hotel is voted best in all of PR. I can't say enough about how gorgeous the view and grounds... More

So first of all, I visited PR or a girls trip recently and we had a really lovely time. There were definitely issues and the property is showing its age a bit but the staff were so friendly and eager to please we overlooked many of the problems. The rooms are spacious and our sea view was absolutely breathtaking but... More

We just got back from 5 days at the El conquistador. We rented a car at the San Juan airport and drove the hour toFajardo which was pretty easy. The resort is pretty big as many others have indicated, but not completely overwhelming. The best feature are the views which are simply gorgeous. The place is a bit outdated, and... More

We returned to El Conquistador for a week bec we were so impressed with the resort last year. Although the hotel is great, there are a few problems that need to be addressed. First, the service in the restaurants and bars is terrible. We ate at Bella Vista one night--the service was terrible, and there was sand in my salad.... More

This resort is a must for your bucket list! Strongly recommend Las Casitas Village. Butler service, stunning cliff side views and great restaurants. Alex Bajandas makes the best mojito ever!!! Offers a wide array of accommodations, private island with water sports, horseback riding, tiki huts, food/Bev option and free shuttle from resort to island. The Caribbean meets the Atlantic right... Eli is the most friendly and hospitable waiter ever.Very informative about the available appetizers and entrées. Our meals were delicious. We had the lobster bisque which was lovely. Also, the filet mignon and bone in rib eye were excellent.

We traveled to the El Conquistador resort with a party of 13. Our rooms were situated in the Marina for our 8 day stay. Upon arrival I was disappointed as I requested the amazing las Brisas ocean view. They couldn't accommodate us together unless we moved down to the Marina. Needless to say, we were not disappointed. It turned out... More

Thank you so much for taking the time to share your feedback from your very recent stay at El Conquistador. I completely agree that La Marina Village is a great place to stay while at El Conquistador. The rooms are the same size as other buildings in the resort and the location provides easy access to Palomino Island and Coqui... More

Rooms are old and tired as is the rest of the hotel. The night table laminate was lifting due to moisture. The hotel hallways by our room were very musty smelling so the first thing you think of is mold. I thought the Waldorf Astoria was a luxury hotel. The grounds were well kept and manicured

I chose this hotel for the view and the option of activities, since I was was traveling with my teenage daughter who doesn't like to just lay at the beach or pool. We horseback rode, sailed, went to the water park, and went on the evening Bio Bay kayak trip which was an experience! The food is fair to poor,... More
