This was a bank holiday lunch treat for me and the the wife. We were just passing and the place was full but they managed to fit us in. I had the pastrami and pickle with emmental cheese sandwich. Not one of those Marks and Spencers ones. This was brilliant. But too much for my appetite. high quality ingredients expertly... More

Stayed here for one night to celebrate my mum and dads golden wedding anniversary. This was my first visit however both my mum and my sister have stayed before. It was a lovely place, very quaint and lovely decorated. My room which was a family room was gorgeous. It had a queen size bed plus a day bed which was... More

We stayed here for one night and was very impressed, all the staff were very friendly and the room we had though a bit dated was OK for 1 night. If I visit again, I would like to try the hot tub rooms. On the evening of our stay we met up with family and the pub accommodated all 18... More

We visited this pub on last night on the way home from a lovely day out in Nidderdale. We ordered a couple of gammon steaks with the trimmings . The home cooked quality of ingredients, quantity and presentation was superb. (Their local suppliers are also listed I pleasantly noted) You do pay a couple of quid more than an average... More

Had dinner for six here on a weeknight. This was a special meal for thanking my bone marrow donor. Food was excellent and so was service even though restaurant was crowded. Prices reasonable. Lovely evening.

Superb traditional inn between Skipton and Colne, in a tiny hamlet (Elslack), just off the main road. We called in for lunch with friends and although the place was busy, including a wedding reception, we were seated at a table by the time our drinks were served. Food was excellent, service slick and friendly, and the price was right !... More

We last visited this particular room in March 2015 but we decided to return as it now has a hot tub - we certainly were not let down! The views from the garden area were stunning and we were blessed with beautiful sunshine too. The hot tub is a little smaller than in room 11 but it was perfect -... More

We visit here intermittently but find it tricky because you usually have to book ahead. Always a good sign, albeit annoying for us last minute families. We went on the off chance of finding a table in the bar as the restaurant was booked up as it usually is. Even midweek. We don't usually take the children as we find... More

Thank you so much for your review! Diet? ... Heaven fobid! Best way is to just order what you fancy and eat less of it if you can! Cheers though and we certainly look forward to seeing you very soon. Lots of best wishes Martin and the Team More
