My wife & I stayed here as we had a wedding at Crondon Hall Golf Club and you seriously can't get a closer location to stay! You can actually see the golf club from the window. We stayed in the annex which was separate from the main house which had a double room and a extra single room with en... More

Stayed a couple of times now and Malcolm and Heather are great hosts! Right on the 18th hole and just down the road from some great pub-restaurants in the quaint village of Stock. Bakers Arms and the The Hoop are superb, try the cherry beer at The Hoop:-) Heather's cracking English breakfast will sort out any over indulgence:-)

I couldn't believe my luck when I found there was still space for me to stay on attending a friend's wedding. The lady who answered the phone was friendly efficient and organised. The price was less than half what the further away chain hotels were asking. Hmmmm, too good to be true? Feeling it really must be too good to... More

We had a wedding at Crondon Park Golf Club so wanted a B&B nearby. The farmhouse is so close you could hit the golf club with a sausage roll! All the facilities you could require and nice thoughtful extras too. The cooked breakfast was more than ample with plenty of everything. Toast, croissants, juices, butter etc were all freely available,... More

My husband and I were referred to this wonderful B&B by a friend. We needed a 2 night stay in the area, which we know very well, having lived most of our lives in Billericay. It is in an idyllic location, on the golf course, so very quiet and scenic. The annex room is very nice, clean, with nice old... More

Quiet, unfussy, friendly, spacious. A traditional B&B, in the best sense. (Reviews have to be 200 characters minimum,Reviews have to be 200 characters minimumReviews have to be 200 characters minimumReviews have to be 200 characters minimumReviews have to be 200 characters minimum)

Used for midweek business overnights, this is truly a home from home. Don't expect state of the art decor or hi tech AV equipment, but you won't miss them - revel instead in the original period features and warmth of the welcome you'll receive. Clean, comfortable and in a superb semi-rural village location where your nearest neighbour is a mile... More

I have stayed at this secluded B & B on several occasions mid-week on business and it has suited my needs perfectly. Accessible by a long track, take care to follow the signs for the Golf Course rather than follow your Sat Nav which will take you down a badly potholed road. Your hosts are Heather and Malcolm Orr. This... More

We've just stayed at this B & B to attend a family wedding at the golf club next door. We had a large double bedroom with en suite bathroom & all the facilities needed for a comfy stay. As there was a snowfall on the night of our stay the warm cosy house just a few steps away was very... More
