Stayed a week at beautiful Read Hall Cottage. The cottage is tastefully decorated with everything and more for a comfortable stay. It is in a tranquil rural location but close enough to get to many lovely places to visit. On sunny days we spent our time dipping in the hot tub and sun bathing. When a little changeable we went... We spent a relaxing week at Read Hall Cottage and we can't fault it! The cottage is beautifully decorated throughout with luxury furnishings. The gardens are great to explore and we were lucky enough to spot two small Deer one morning, frolicking in the field opposite the cottage. We also saw rabbits everyday and bees and butterflies enjoying the wonderful... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our long weekend stay here in July. The cottage is lovely, so well equipped with high quality fittings and touches. The outlook across the fields adds to the privacy and feeling of being away from it all, especially in the glorious hot-tub. For a romantic stay where you want to just chill out and enjoy the peace... More

This is our 4th visit here after coming 5 years ago for our honeymoon. It is a wonderful place, very peaceful and relaxing. We brought our two small children aged 1 and 2 and we managed well as we knew what to expect. It is not aimed at families but Andy and Andrea supplied us with a travel cot and... More

Had a great long weekend mini-moon after our wedding, couldn't have picked a better spot. Very secluded, well equipped cottage surrounded by gorgeous countryside, and of course, an amazing hot tub (perfect for champagne at night!). Hosts are great, we needed to swap a duvet due to down allergies, Andy was very accommodating. We've recommended to all our friends!

Stayed here in April with my partner. We are both young and yet this place was perfect for us as well rather than just being good for older couples. The hot tub is great and the welcoming when you arrive is even better. We felt right at home. The place was warm and decorated beautifully. Thank you for a lovely... More

We have just returned from one of the best uk holidays we have ever had. Read Hall had everything that we needed for our stay. I have tried to find something that could be improved and I have been unable to think of anything. The only possible down side is that there is not a pub that can be walked... More

After seeing the photos and reading reviews on this site travellers are rarely surprised these days and this was the case here. Attention to detail, privacy, and a huge and deep hot tub, this cottage really does have the wow factor. We were sad to miss the owners welcome as they were away but received a text with emergency contact... More

Thank you for your feedback and the wonderful photographs of Read Hall you sent us. Although we were away during your stay (hence the missing cats!) it was great to have a chat on your departure and to hear how much you had enjoyed your stay at our Cottage. Sadly glasses do get broken - a new set of champagne... More

End of March can be a little dodgy weather wise, but the cottage is very cosy and comfortable. The owners have provided everything you could need for a short break; we were very lazy and just wanted to spend a few peaceful days recharging and de stressing. The hot tub is amazing, any time of day/ night and whatever the... More
