Our stay was simply perfection. The quality of the accommodation was superb as was the food & welcome.Stay here if you get a chance. We had drinks on the terrace and could easily have stayed for more! A short countryside walk away is an excellent Pub serving delicious well priced food.

It is almost impossible to fault this property. The food is excellent, the rooms have Nespressoo machines and very luxurious towels and dressing gowns. The proprietors are friendly and attentive. To comply with Tripadvisor's particularly fatuous rules I am expanding this review to >200 characters.

I have to confess I usually avoid B&B's having had a number of bad experiences over the years. I only stayed for a couple of nights, however Bays Farm has made me think again. I hope that the kind of thing they're doing is the future for UK B&B's and small hotels. Anyone who travels a lot around the UK... More

Thank you so much for your brilliant review. We are so very glad that you found your stay at Bays Farm relaxing and you are absolutely right the guest experience is always top of our agenda. It is true to say there is an increasing number of B&B's and small hotels who strive to change the old perception of fussy... More

We spent 4 nights here and can honestly say it's the best B&B we've ever stayed at. Stephanie & Richard could not have done more for us - so helpful about my partner's medication, advice about where to visit, and they cooked us two splendid evening meals at a very reasonable price, with some superb wine. The Farm is beautifully... More

Thank you for your review - it was a pleasure having you both to stay and really pleased weather was good enough for you to be able to have your evening meals in the garden twice! Hope your trip up to Latitudes and then onward home was fine without incident. Thank you again. More

We only stayed at Bay's Farm for one night on our way to the Suffolk Coast but I can honestly say it is a lovely B/B - house beautifully decorated and rooms immaculate , breakfast was very good and jams were home made and fresh fruit from the garden. Can definitely recommend this .

Thank you for your review - we hope the rest of your trip to our lovely Suffolk coast went well especially as we have been enjoying such good weather. Back to making more jam as we are just picking the last of the strawberries for this year. Thank you again. More

Due to a last minute booking we could only stay for one night, but as we only lived in King's Lynn we didn't mind. As soon as we arrived we knew we should have booked sooner and for longer. Bays Farm is set in a tranquil setting with beautiful gardens to walk around and sun loungers at the rear. A... More

Thank you both for your great review - I know you said you wanted to stay in all the rooms at some point - that would be great to see you in the future to try them all. We have been enjoying such lovely weather this last week (despite the storms overnight) so laying up tables in the garden either... More

we stayed in the Hayloft for one night in January. If it had a kitchen I'd have moved in. Beautiful. Very high spec finish, spacious...perfect. Breakfast was delicious and the hosts were lovely. We will be back!

Thank you for your review - and thank you for thinking of us since your stay in january. I guess if the Hayloft had a kitchen we may move in ourselves but we like to keep it for our guests! Glad you enjoyed your stay and we very much hope to see you in the future. More

We stayed 3 nights and loved everything - a spacious room, everything provided - great attention to detail, beautiful garden, great hospitality, lovely breakfasts. Honestly can't think of anything they could have done to improve our stay!

Stephanie and Richard were so thoughtful and considerate, I've never quite stayed in a place like it before. They were so friendly and have really thought of your every need. Just pure bliss. Wouldn't stay anywhere else in Stowmarket.

We just needed a reasonably priced place to stay the night before a Christening in Gislingham and it was one of those times where reality really surpasses your expectations. It was beautifully decorated, private, comfortable and equipped with everything you might need. Breakfast was spot-on - we only wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy it more. Stephanie and... Thank you for taking the time to give us your great review - it was a shame you had to hurry off to the christening but we hope you arrived in good time and you had a good time. Tilly Schnauzer says she liked all the attention she received - thank you lots!! More

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Lavish restoration has turned this charming 17th-century farmhouse into a quality destination. A moat and 4 acres of recently re-designed gardens which open under the National Garden Scheme surround the property. The interior has a wealth of oak beams and the individually designed bedrooms are luxuriously furnished and each have en-suite facilities. The newly opened Hayloft is beautifully appointed and offers a sitting area along with its own balcony looking over the orchard. Breakfasts are served in the oak-beamed dining room. ... more   less
