I stayed at this hotel for a week the end of October, I took my 83 year old father away for a break to help him recover after just completeing a year of Chemotherapy. From the minute we arrived until we left everything was perfect. Our two rooms both had amazing sea views and were very comfortable and had everything... more

The 'Trip Advisor' review on this hotel was invaluable, and without covering old ground once more we do think that the following points are worth emphasis. 1. The refurbishment is indeed very necessary, had we not known what to expect from earlier reviews we could easily have been disappointed by first impressions. We were on the side by the Estuary,... more

First class hotel and a five star service. If you want a really relaxing beach/pool holiday this is the place to go. I read emilyguyton review dated 5 Jun 2009 which was" spot on". If Thomsons holiday company read the reviews they will realise that the reps Debbie & Stephen deserve a pay rise. The best I have met. Go... more

Stayed from the 17th to 27th August, my husband, 3 children (18,15 and10 yrs old) and I. We asked for two rooms aside and we've got it perfect, with a comunicating balcony. Is true the decoration is in need to change but this was not enough to put a negative feeling on our holidays. The hotel has a great location,... more

This is a lovely hotel. It is a little tired in places but that will hopefully be sorted as the hotel is closing in November for a big refurb. The resort is very quiet but so relaxing. The staff can't do enough for you. From the moment you check-in and are greeted by the chap that gives you the glass... more

We've just returned from a week staying at the Riu Atlantico where we had a fabulous time. As others have said, the hotel is due to close for refurbishment soon, so the carpet was patched in places and the paintwork was chipped, but it was still perfectly acceptable. What really makes this hotel stand out from the rest was the... more

This is our 3rd time at a Riu Hotel and still no complaints. I like the idea of different heads of departments speak at the Welcome meeting, and mean what they say. Food plentiful and good choices. How can you say it gets repetitive if at hotel for 2 weeks, nobody can have 2 weeks of completely different food!!! There... more
