We booked this hotel by email at a special rate of €110 per night intending to stay for 5 nights and were given a room in the 'new' wing. However we went into the room it was shoddy and dirty, the curtains were hanging off their hooks and there was no nets or voiles to give you any privacy from... more

A basic hotel with friendly staff and clean rooms. The night porter Juan(Jonnie) was excellent he could not do enough for the guests. A place to stay for one night on route to somewhere else or if you need to be near Portlaoise. more
