I love this hotel for lunch, a long relaxing lunch, beautiful decor, good food, attentive staff. Take a walk around this historical building and admire nice collections, especially the unique stained glass window at foot of stairs. In good weather enjoy the gardens, this is one of my favourite places.

Stayed for a wedding in one of the main rooms in the house, was called 'Lord...' something, can't remember now. Was a great experience and I would love to go back and relax around the different rooms of the hotel. The function room was really well decorated and the food was all delicious (seemed to be about seven courses!). The... More

We booked into one of the master bedrooms for a birthday celebration. The whole experience was fabulous from getting help with our bags at check-in , to the gorgeous long walk by the river and through the woods to a nice pint in the bar after. Service was excellent. ..attentive but not obtrusive. We attended the wine tasting in the... More

We live locally so unfortunately cant comment on overnight stays, but we did visit for my mums birthday where we booked in for afternoon tea and a spa treatment for my mum. The afternoon tea was in a lovely small room overlooking the front garden/terrace area. We were served our glass of prosecco, and then given our options of tea... More

I attended a reunion weekend at Castle Durrow this past weekend with 20+ friends from around the country (and indeed some came from abroad!).From start to finish, my experience at Castle Durrow was exceptional. Firstly, the presentation of the Estate itself is just wonderful - beautiful main building, manicured gardens, period furniture and decor. Driving up the lane to the... More

We travelled to Durrow on Friday 15th Jan 2016 for a night in Castle Durrow and the French taster menu. We were taken to our room which was beautiful, four poster bed and amazing bathroom. The evening started with the wine tasting which was lovely and given by a very charming gentleman. Following the wine tasting we were taken to... More

Went to Castle Durrow for Sunday Dinner for my daughters birthday. Dining room was lovely with fantastic service and beautiful food. Our party included two teenagers and a 10 yr old whose individual needs were all catered for by the friendly and accommodating staff.
