Start: If I could give this Guesthouse a 7 star, I would. I was so impressed with it. The proprietors (Sean and Rosita) were absolutely lovely - really genuine people - nothing put on - it was obvious that they loved and were so proud of what they were doing. The Hotel (I think of it more as a hotel... More

Visited the Ashbrook Arms whilst in the lovely village of Durrow for a wedding. From the moment we arrived we knew we had made the right decision to stay here. We had complimentary tea and biscuits on arrival. We had a lovely modern room with all the mod cons. Breakfast was in an annexe off the main dining room looking... More

Just back from a stay at the Ashbrook Arms Guesthouse at the weekend. We were attending a wedding at Castle Durrow and stayed overnight B/B. I was really very pleasantly surprised at the exceptional quality of this Guesthouse. It far exceeded my expectations of a guesthouse and in fact, you could be forgiven for thinking it a 4 star hotel.... More

We stayed here for a wedding in castle Durrow. I cannot recommend it enough. The rooms are beautiful with fresh glass bottles of still and sparkling ballygowen left daily :) breakfast is great. The host is so friendly and you can walk 5 seconds to Bob's bar for some trad Irish music across the road.

Stopped her for one night prior to a wedding across the road at the amazing Castle Durrow. The Ashbrook Arms is an old coaching inn, rescued from near dereliction and recently refurbished to a really high standard. They were lovely and flexible when we asked if we could arrive late (near midnight); our room was large and very comfortable; breakfast... More

We stayed as a party of 18 for a wedding at Castle Durrow. Several couples, some with babies. The family that own this could not have been more helpful to accommodate our needs - we had tables set especially so we could all eat together, they were incredibly accommodating to several of us coming and going at different times. The... More
