We stayed here in order to attend a wedding at Castle Durrow and couldn't have been more pleased with our choice. We were warmly welcomed and were given a beautiful room. Nothing was too much trouble and the owners and their family went above and beyond in their kindness towards us. The building has been totally renovated and is stylish,... More

My wife and I stayed there and found it to be friendly, professional and charming. We were attending a wedding at the castle, 5 min walk away and it was ideally located for that purpose . We had a large tasty breakfast in their wonderful scenic conservatory . We would highly recommend this establishment

My husband and I stayed here last night and absolutely loved it! Such an elegant place, simple yet fab! The comfy bed was the main attraction! Super location for the Castle wedding, opposite a great wee pub and such a lovely view of the river. The bath filled in jig time and oceans of hot water, warm, good quality towels..simple things but a pity... More

We stayed at the Ashbrook last year for a wedding nearby. It was just perfect. We were the only guests that night, as the wedding was mid-week. In the morning Sean had set a table up for us in the bar beside the fire, it was magic. Clean, spacious and tastefully decorated room and the beds were very comfortable. I... More

Just reading through all the positive reviews here and there is little I can add really, other than to agree. We spent 2 nights (B&B, plus one lovely meal) with Rosita and Sean and we couldn't have asked for more. Friendly and accommodating, coupled with a really well run, professional setup. Got a great nights sleep in our large, peaceful... More

We stayed here for the night when attending a wedding at the castle. Room was clean and spacious, bed and pillows very comfortable indeed. I sometimes find guest houses to be a little noisy but there was certainly no problem with that here, our room was quiet and we had a great nights sleep. Bathroom modern and spacious with toiletries... More

This old premises is decorated and maintained at five star level at three star prices and I believe I would only be making it more expensive for myself, were I not to totally trust the family who own the hotel and run it.Roseta is front of house .Sean is head chef and runs an exceptional kitchen. The premises is an... More

Just returned from the most fantastic time in the Ashbrook Arms. We were attending a wedding in Durrow Castle and stayed here for the weekend. It is more than a guesthouse - honestly I've stayed in some great 4/5 star hotels and this guesthouse certainly rivals them. The staff were unbelievably friendly, the property/rooms are so clean and the food... More

We had our wedding reception at Ashbrook Arms 24 August 13. This was a fantastic venue for our party of 50. The hosts Sean and Rosezita and children treated us like royalty right from the start. The meal was served exactly at the time we asked and it was fresh and piping hot. All our guests complimented us on our... More
