We were attending a wedding at Castle Durrow the day before and stayed here for an overnight stay. We were met at the door and shown to our room by a lovely woman who was great to chat. The room itself was huge and really clean. The bathroom was really clean and the shower was fantastic. The breakfast was fantastic... More

We were attending a wedding at Castle Durrow and booked the Ashbrook Arms for an overnight stay. We were greeted immediately on arrival and shown to our room and offered tea / coffee. The room was very comfortable and overlooked the rear of the property which had a quiet aspect (I imagine the front which looks out onto the main... More

I have reviewed the Ashbrook Arms on a previous occasion (2 years ago) and found it to be first class accommodation on each of the four occasions that I have stayed there. My last visit was at the beginning of Sept when we had the good fortune of staying in the new courtyard suite which was a pleasure to behold.... More

I enjoyed a fabulous meal here a few weeks ago. However, I am allergic to wheat and was disappointed that they didn't have a pepper sauce wheat free , to go with my steak, - we had called in advance to ask if they could accommodate me, and was told yes - they didn't offer an alternative to the pepper... A good Irish welcome from Sean (fine fresh ground coffee and bisquits and then off to a well appointed room. The whole building had been very tastefully restored to a first class Coaching Inn, we were well impressed !!!. Breakfast on all the mornings was first class ,and at last... More

The staff, service, rooms and breakfast were all fantastic! I stayed there 2 nights for a wedding.First you are greated with a welcoming smile and then brought up to your room which is very large and nicely renovated. In the morning you are able to go down and have a very delicious full Irish breakfast. The village of Durrow is... More

I stayed here with my family to attend a wedding at the castle. We did a lot of research and this had top reviews from everyone. It definitely lived up to all expectations. The family are all really friendly (including all their children), helpful and so welcoming. The rooms are beautiful, spacious and so comfortable. I couldn't believe that Rosezita... More

We stayed here in order to attend a wedding at Castle Durrow and couldn't have been more pleased with our choice. We were warmly welcomed and were given a beautiful room. Nothing was too much trouble and the owners and their family went above and beyond in their kindness towards us. The building has been totally renovated and is stylish,... More

My wife and I stayed there and found it to be friendly, professional and charming. We were attending a wedding at the castle, 5 min walk away and it was ideally located for that purpose . We had a large tasty breakfast in their wonderful scenic conservatory . We would highly recommend this establishment
