Just want to say a huge 'Thank you' to Rosezita and Sean for our wonderful stay in the Ashbrook Arms. We were attending a wedding in Castle Durrow which was booked out for accomodation. My initial reaction was to be disappointed because we could not stay in the venue of the wedding but it was our lucky day because we... More

We have eaten here a few times and defiantly would recommend it to anyone passing through the area. The service is very friendly and the quality of the restaurant is excellent. Could not fault the food at all. Total 5 star experience and very good value

We had a family dinner for approx 20 people. They restaurant accommodated us at end of Sunday afternoon sitting when majority of family could attend. Our food was excellent and served in a very timely and efficient manner. Staff were very helpful and served alternatives to the set menu when asked. The goats cheese started and duck is highly recommended... More

Stayed here while attending a wedding a Durrow Castle. The lady who ruins the guesthouse is so welcoming. As the day was extremely cold she turned the heating up in the room so when we came back later that night we had a nice toasty room. The room itself was lovely and the bed was very comfy. Breakfast was very... More

The owner was so helpful and friendly and brought us fresh coffee to our room when we arrived. The room was huge, warm and perfect. I would definitely recommend staying here, we just loved it. I stayed here for a wedding in December and I had the best experience all year. The service is very friendly and personal, knowing us by name as we arrived. They were very helpful and obliging too. The rooms are very spacious and high quality. I would stay here again in a heartbeat!

We stayed over at this lovely Guesthouse while attending a wedding at the nearby Castle Durrow. From the minute we arrived with a warm welcome and the offer of a cup of tea, we felt at home. We checked in at 12.15 on our way to the 1 pm wedding. But that was not a problem. Our room was ready... More

The Ashbrook Arms in Durrow was decided upon to be the venue for a staff reunion in recent weeks. I had remembered from passing through Durrow that the place had been closed and run-down for quite some years. Originally a coaching inn dating back to the 1700's, it has in recent years been lovingly restored by the present owners. The... More

We were attending a wedding at Castle Durrow the day before and stayed here for an overnight stay. We were met at the door and shown to our room by a lovely woman who was great to chat. The room itself was huge and really clean. The bathroom was really clean and the shower was fantastic. The breakfast was fantastic... More
