In view of generally favorable reviews for this venue, this review takes major exception. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Eric was helpful with recommendations of things to do in the area, and made reservations for us. Loved the canoe trip down the Dordogne. Location is central, but Sarlat is a 20 minutes drive. Very peaceful spot, and we enjoyed walking to the Irish pub when we didn't want to make the drive to Sarlat. more

I loved this place and was sad/homesick when we left after a 1 week stay. The hosts/owners are wonderful - making suggestions and reservations, but never intrusive. The location is perfect for exploring the Dordogne area - everything an easy drive on roads that are well-marked. Rooms are very comfortable & breakfast is delicious.
