Our second visit proved just as good as the first. The B&B accommodation was extremely comfortable, clean and spacious and Eric was again very helpful in finding great places to eat and visit. We would have no hesitation in recommending Les Charmes.

Once again warmly greeted and looked after by the owner Eric. A fabulous peaceful location with Beaux Rives very comfortable and well equipped . The house has it's own private pool with a larger communal pool by the main house. Can thoroughly recommend as the perfect family location . Very large and private gardens . The local pub the Black... More

The title refers to Eric, the hotel itself and the location. All exceeded my expectations. We stayed here on our way to Paris from the south of France for two nights. In hindsight the area had way more to do and see ... we should have spent at least 4 nights to really enjoy the area and beautiful property. Eric... More

We stayed as a party of 3 couples in the cottage Les Beaux Rêves. The whole property including our cottage evokes France, especially the French countryside, and completes the total French experience. The quality of the property is excellent, each of the 3 bedrooms have ensuite bathrooms. As we are all foodies there is a full kitchen after a visit... More

We had the Gite Cochonnet for a week. A stunning setting with a private courtyard overlooking the ancient church and surrounding fields. Eric was an excellent host always happy to help when needed, he provided a welcome pack and even brought our fresh morning croissants. The gite was very well equipped and furnished, a perfect centre for exploring the beautiful... More

We spent a week at Les Charmes de Carlucet in June 2014, and thoroughly enjoyed it. We rented the independent "cottage", which is really a very comfortable house with three en suite bedrooms. It is very well fitted and furnished. The large, modern kitchen was well equipped to cook local produce purchased at village markets. The property is well positioned... More

I had space enough to settle in by the pool,... More

We've just returned from our fourth stay in the larger of the holiday cottages, Beaux Rêves. The children (boys 8 and 11) can't wait to come back here for the pool, canoeing, forest adventures, caves, castles, French food and their enthusiastic canine friend Filou. We love coming off-season as it's so quiet - no crowds, queues or stresses. Eric is... More
