We have recently returned from a ten day stay at Les Granges Hautes. It is a lovely old manor house with extensive gardens and a good-sized pool. Rooms (and beds) are comfortable and spotlessly clean and breakfast and occasional evening meals are taken in the garden. Hosts Beatrice and Jean Yves are charming and helpful. The location is ideal for... More

This is a surprisingly interesting location. The huge garden, the pool, the charming rooms and the central location all added value to our stay. These assets largely compensated for the excellent but fairly basic breakfast and the internet connection which rarely went beyond 0,3Mb/s. Both host and hostess were very friendly and they both did what it takes to make... More

We stayed for four nights here at the end of June. Nice room on the first floor with a nice bathroom. the grounds were large and attractive. Hosts kind and helpful. Some nights they cook dinner which was pleasant and good value at E30 per person. the downside was that the place was infested with flies when we were there.... More

We have visited Les Granges Hautes over the years and this was our fourth visit. We always stay here when we are in the area...you couldn't find a nicer place to stay. The house is divine, Bea and Jean Yves are wonderful, helpful and cheerful hosts and the gardens are absolutely beautiful. This time, with two friends, we stayed in... More

We spent four wonderful nights at La Grange Hautes from 13-17 June. The property was magnificent, beautiful gardens and a lovely refreshing pool. The rooms were quite large with a nice ensuite, beds very comfortable. The breakfast was very nice and plentiful and we had breakfast in the garden each morning. The host Beatrice was extremely helpful, pleasant and professional.... More

Lovely B&B on lovely grounds. The suite was good-sized and (in addition to the queen bed) had 2 single beds for the kids as opposed to a couch, which is always nice to find. The pool was a highlight! The grounds and rooms are very well-kept and clean. Little odd that there was no soap provided for shower. The hosts... More

This is the quintessential French Country Inn, beautiful old buildings set on magnificent grounds, with lawns, gardens, and orchards. We stayed in Virginie, in the main house. The room is large, with a king size bed, a large dresser, wardrobe, writing desk, and reading chair. The bathroom is also large, with tub and shower. It is on the ground floor,... More

When we walked through the entrance of Les Grange Hautes in the Dordogne region of France I had the feeling of entering Shangri La. Granted, that whole area is stunning, but this b&b blended perfectly with its setting. The grounds are made up of an immaculate lawn, beautiful gardens, with plenty of seating, and a surprisingly big and tranquil pool.... More

Our stay at this wonderful bed and breakfast fulfilled all of our dreams of staying in an historic building in the french countryside. Our hosts Jean-Yves and Beatrice Fauste were faultless in their care of us (from New Zealand), even though we were three hours late in arriving, dinner was set and served under the trees in a beautiful setting....
