Stayed for three nights in September 2009. Sea front room on upper floors - very good. Hotel has exposed position but breathtaking views and easy walking into the old town for restaurants etc. Modern decor which we quite liked and found the staff friendly and rooms very clean. more
Badly advertised: for 160 euros, there was no hook for the shower, the double bed was two beds put side by side, the remote control did not work and the reception was extremely grumpy and unpleasant! Not recommended when you can stay right downtown at the Columba for cheaper, much nicer rooms and brilliant staff! more
Correct what many other say: stunning location and if your room (upper floors) with small balcony faces the sea the view is great. Apart from that: rooms very small, bathroom nothing to fix the shower, no grip to hold (the day there is an accident they'll be in trouble), breakfast far too expensive (Euro 15). Carpet in the room old.... more
A modern hotel, in the upper village - way at the end; the only one around. Great if you want to avoid the noise and frentic activity along the port...Good queen bed; we had a sea view, but were on the first floor, so felt a bit close to the parking area - would have been nice to be higher,... more
I agree with other reviewers that the Santa Teresa costs more than comparable hotels in Corsica, but what you're paying for is the unbeatable location and views. Even though we weren't lucky enough to get a room facing the south, we still loved our view of the ruined windmills and old town just beyond, plus if we leaned out we... more
Our stay at Hotel Santa Teresa was wonderful! While the building itself is nothing special, the location is amazing and the rooms impeccable. Our room included a very comfortable bed, dresser, lots of closet space, and a balcony with views of the sea. Ensuite bathroom included large tub/ shower, sink, and toilet and was very clean. Breakfast, served downstairs in... more
A group of 7 of us stayed at the Santa Teresa during a motorcycle tour of Corsica. I guess we got off to a bad start when the hotel had no record of our internet booking and the receptionist didn't seem too keen on helping us out, even though the hotel had enough free rooms for all of us. Having... more
This hotel has a marvellous location in the old town of Bonifacio. It is a rebuilt army barracks situated directly beside what tourist guides claim to be the secondmost beautifully situated cemetery in Europe! More to the point, the hotel has a fantastic view across the strait between Corsica and Sardinia. Sunset is marvellous. There is a private carpark, which... more
I stayed 3 nights (october, 2006) at the Santa Teresa Hotel. I found it a little bit overpriced (135 euros/night, off season, for a triple). The design is all right, no more, no less. the great thing is the location: on the very top of the cliff, with an unbelievable view on the old Bonifacio, the magical harbor, Sardaigna, and... more
