This is THE HOTEL spot on in Bonifacio. This is a real and small (not so called) design hotel in the very heart of the city with a spectacular view. You get happy when you arrive and you leave satisfied by all means. At the pool area you are extra happy - high in the blue sky!

This hotel is minutes away from the ferry from Sardinia. Once you get off the boat just travel a couple of hundred yards up the hill and turn right into the tunnel signposted Haute Ville. (very small and easy to miss) The secured car park is right at the top of the hill next to the hotel. You have to... More

The hotel has been tastefully integrated into the City's ancient fortifications and is in a beautiful location. I had some concern about finding the property, but the combination of signage and the knowledge that it was located in "haute ville" made it easy to locate. Once we arrived I was pleasantly surprise to find convenient, secure parking provided directly next... More

The hotel is located in the old city, Haute ville, and seems quite ordinary when you pass by. Once inside, however, you'll find a well kept secret. It is a modern, minimalistic style hotel in an old building that fits perfectly into the location. Well planned, lovely restored. The view is great, the pool in the backyard is inviting and... More

Spent four nights here. We had a great view from our room and terrace of the Port of Bonifacio and the walls of the old Citadel. Also, relaxed at the wonderful pool in it's beautiful setting. Great location for walking the Haute Ville and a ten minute walk down to the Port. The staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was... More

I choose this hotel because in was located on the citadelle so my hiking would be cut to a minimum. The view from the oversized balcony is incredible, the pool is huge, the room is comfortable. It's a bit expensive but worth the extra money for the perks. Good restaurants nearby. Tomorrow we take a half hour ferry ride to... More

It was a pity that we only had two nights here at this hotel, as it was a really nice place to stay. We had a cornier room with a big window looking down over the marina and then doors to a small balcony. The room itself was of a good size and the bathroom was excellent....just like in the... More

Bonfacio is beautiful, but maybe because of the geography, it isn't blessed with a great choice of decent hotels. Genovese is probably one of the best, but I paid a lot of money for a mediocre experience. When booking the room, I made it very clear that I wanted a room with a balcony rather than a terrace. This is... More

The hotel is much nicer in real then on pictures. In French standard this is not 3-stars. The rooms are very nice and looks newly refurnished. Its close to the city and the harbor, it has private parking, a nice pool area and great service. We will definetly recommend this to anyone travelling to Bonifacio.

A few days ago (late June) we stayed for three nights in Hotel Genovese. The location is perfect on the edge of the cliff in the Haute Ville. There is a simple but beautiful breakfast and parking next door, which is a big bonus in this part of town. The rooms are clean, well maintained and all the staff were... More
