We stayed at Hotel Le Royal for two days and enjoyed our stay. While the room was very basic (but still clean and pleasant enough, with well soundproofed windows overlooking a busy part of the old town), the hotel's location and the quality of the service set it apart. It's located in the old town within minutes' walk of everything,... More

we prebooked Big family room in April, but did not get this room in July, even it was charged 50% deposit from our credit Card. instead we have to stay in small room, which has no view (to the wall). In the room was no space to put even our luggage inside and one our child has to sleep with... More

Very bad service. I was there for breakfast and sat outside: 1) As no one was coming to take my order, I had to go inside the restaurant to signal that I was ready to order. 2) After a while, breakfast came. They forgot to include the butter on their standard breakfast tray. I had to ask, and again 5... More

Very bad note is that personnel doesn't speak english at all. More, even if I asked in francaise a glass of water during breakfast, and he agreed, no water was given. Room not well cleaned- toilet bad looking and conditionating bad working. IF you decide to stay in Bonifacio maybe it's better to spend more money but at least have... More

We didn't stay in hotel, but we went to restaurant - because as the only one in the time we were hungry was serving food! I am so fed up with this 3pm-5pm break from serving food! And this restaurant was open so we were happy we are going to eat something :) I know the food that has been... More

We have spent one night in this hotel. We liked the location, it is right in the middle of the old (and pretty) center. We took a standard room, that overlooked a nice medieval street. Breakfast was included and very standard. The breakfast area was very Moderate, and, despite the views, had a lack of style. Staff was absent from... More

As indicated in the title, this hotel is in the upper part of the old city and slightly apart from the busiest street, then it should be relatively quiet even in the summer. Very calm in November anyway... We spent just one night, 4 in a tiny room, the two additional beds were a bit "light" but luckily they worked... More

We reserved this hotel after reading some positive comments on tripadvisor. The room are very small and smelty, the bathroom unclassifiable and the parking for the moto a public parking with a code at 100 mt from the hotel at the end of a climbimg street.  The location is good but is the only pro of this hotel among several... Hotel Le Royal is a FANTASTIC off-season choice. The location is perfect for exploring Bonifacio, and the price is right! The room was very clean and spacious. Bed was comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful. High-speed internet is FREE and with few people staying in the hotel, it was very fast. TV has no English-language channels. Entry into the hotel... More

Bonifacio is an EXTREMELY charming little town. We had worried it would be too touristy, but we actually really loved it. The Le Royal is a completely fine hotel (really it is some rooms above a restaurant, more restaurant than hotel) -- extremely, extremely basic, but quiet, clean and cheap. The bed was fine, and the bathroom completely sufficient. It... More
