My husband and I stayed in a private room for 2 nights and really liked the hostel a lot. Clean, cozy, good location, safe, nice staff, interesting guests, good wifi, and free delicious breakfast. The hot water worked great, and we didn't miss AC at all bc matagalpa is pretty cool at night. Definitely would recommend!

We were travelling thru Matagalpa with 2 teens ands 2 adults. We all fit comfortably in the private room. We were there for Matagalpa's 150th Anniversary, so that added to the stay. There is a quant little restaurant on site. As an added bonus try out Nuevo tours for a high quality but low budget way of seeing Matagalpa.
