We stayed for a couple of nights in Teresa's and Georgio's pretty and clean hotel. We have enjoyed their hospitality and kindness.. and enjoyed the tasty italian food she cooks .. defenetly recommended!

I will start with a disclaimer of saying we did not stay here. We were booked and we paid for 3 nights (after reading that the owner would demand payment or file charges with local authorities) but left within an hour of checking into our room. The room was rugged and the location felt less than safe. It appears most... More

Very sketchy location with no beach. I felt very unsafe. The rooms are right next to a swamp and you can see the ground through the floorboards. Just know that it is completely different from the pictures or the website before you go. Would not stay there again.

We would recommend the Hotel Bellavista for everyone! But you should remember that it isn't a five star hotel. Shower pressure was excellent, but the water was nice and fresh ;) not so warm. We ate most of our breakfasts in next door hotel Paraiso, it was 3,5dollars/ person. The location of the hotel was excellent, a 10min walk to... More

I just returned from a two week trip all over Nicaragua (January 2015) and my experience with the owner of Hotel Bellavista was by far the worst part of my entire trip! We booked the hotel online and decided to "splurge" on this place. When we arrived, we were a little disappointed that the hotel was not actually beachfront and... More

The proprietors Giorgio and Teresa are pleasant honest and fun to talk with, especially sweet to kids. Teresa's cooking is very good, chocolate cake, lasagna, focaccia, pasta al ragu', frittata, insalata pomodori, all excellent. Rooms are cleaned every day, the linens freshly washed and the shower pressure excellent (although no hot water). Our room was flanked by the kitchenette room facing... More

My uncle and I spent 5 days on Big Corn Island in January 2015. Upon arriving, we were somewhat disappointed... all the online pix you see give one the impression that the hotels are right on the beaches. In reality, no hotel on the island is really on a beach, except for Casa Canada, and the beach there is just... More

Read the reviews on Tripadvisor and thought it was a good choice for our one night stay in Little Corn as it was close to town. I know prices are pretty high on the Corn Islands but the amount we paid for this hotel was too high for what you get. The room is ok and definitely acceptable if a... More

The hotel is great, the rooms are nice and with A/C and also nice bathrooms. The hotel is run by a couple from Italy that have living for quite some time there and they are great. Really helpful, great speaking to and also cook great italian food and delicious breakfast. We really enjoyed our stay! The beach just in front... More

We booked the Bellavista for 4 nights, and Giorgio was at the airport to pick us up as requested. I thought this would be a nice change of pace, and I was right. Giorgio and Teresa are the very welcoming Italian couple who own the Hotel Bellavista. Our room was comfortable and at the main building. My only complaints were... More
