Ambassador City is literally a city by itself. With a claimed 4000+ rooms, large waterfront and beach, convention and a market of its own. Communication is very challenging as very few of the staff understand and speak "broken" English which we found to be very surprising for a tourist destination area / hotel. The hotel pretty much monopolized the taxi,... More

This place really is like a city - there is a lot to do which makes for great options while on vacation! They have everything you need on their property from a mini-mart to a Thai market to ATMs to make everything super easy and simple. The rooms are a little old but cozy and clean. The AC's need a... This might be one of the biggest hotels in the world but the rooms are a bit outdated. There are quite a few buildings in this hotel. I stayed at the ocean tower where my room had a stunning view of the ocean. Initially, We were given a room without the sea view but the reception staff was very courtious... More

4 different wings to suit your pocket, In wing, the cheapest, Garden Wing, Tower wing and the Ocean wing the most expensive. You get what you pay for. I stayed at the Garden wing, with my family, it was great value for money. The rooms very big, with mini fridge, TV, hot water kettle, hot water in bathroom, bath tub,... More

A highlight is the swimming pool and the beach is safe. Be careful and do not let children swim alone because a big pool cannot take care from staff This hotel is full of Russian people. Hotel staff can speak Russian well. Overall the hotel is available and recommended that I try to stay. Room rates start at 800 baht... More

This hotel is a large complex about 5 miles from the centre of Pattaya Thailand. There are several buildings here and we stayed at the Ocean Wing so this report concerns this building only. The rooms are fairly old and we did notice a bit of drain odor in the bathroom. It was difficult to adjust the a/c and impossible... More

My father arrived to Pattaya and stayed at Ambassador Hotel. I came to this hotel to visit my dad. Reception checked that father stayed here and gave us an entrance pass. After that we had a lot of challenges. Some security guards came to us one by one and asked to pay 500 baht per person but every time when... More

You got everything when in the hotel. They got minimart, market for souvenirs, a lot of swimming pools, restaurants and shops. However, most facilities are charged, you must pay for exercise at sport center and WiFi(and it available only at your room not the lobby or other areas of the hotel! Really disappointing)

Stayed for 5 nights in March 2015 in an Executive Deluxe room of the Ocean Wing. Looks very impressive on arrival, especially the foyer area. Cannot comment on other accommodation buildings, as we did not venture over there. As others have mentioned just like a little city of it's own including mini-mart/drug store within the Ocean Wing building, market shopping... More
