Yes, we DO like boutique-style hotels. Yes, we do prefer them when we have to choose between them and a bigger, less personal hotel. But I'd have to say there was way too much hassle with Rimklong. First, on arrival there was absolutely nobody a the "reception". We had to ask the cleaning ladys and wait for quite a while.... More

Early Feb '15, I arrived at 1.30am, Mr Tooh (pronounced 'two') waited for my arrival, as a solo traveller I was anxious that it would be closed and I'd have to find alternative accommodtion at this late hour (not an easy task in Trat). I stayed just the 1 night in the ground floor, road side room - there is... More

Trat is not a favourite destination and, hotel options there are very restricted. Mr Tooh is a clever host able to catch the western taste: light modern furniture, white walls, toiletries, silent aircon, quiet rooms in the inner part of the town. We spent a couple of nights before going to Ko Mak, and one on the way back. For... More

Manager was extremely helpful, room was clean and in nice design. I strongly recomend this hotel for everyone.... manager arranged transportation from / to pier for us, even he call us a taxi that drove us to all garden stores around Trat city. Great great great, thanks so much to this hotel and Mr.Tooh

We stayed in the suite for a few nights. It's beautifully appointed and kept spotless. It felt more suited to a solo traveller, though: furniture was a bit sparse. One of their double rooms might be better for a couple. It's pricey compared to other places in the area, but is much fancier and we really enjoyed our days there.... More

We stayed at the Rimklong hotel for one night after a week in a beach bungalow and it was great to go from beautiful but rustic (bucket showers & toilets, sand everywhere) to a giant comfy bed and giant wet room as a treat. The staff were welcoming and helpful, the cocktails were great, the room was very clean and... More

Stylish , minimalistic , cleanest rooms in S.E. Asia ( you won't find 1 long black hair ) . Mr Tooh the owner is courteous, helpful, suave, and the most genuine caring hotel owner you can find . Though Trat has many good hotels/guesthouses at around 200 Thai Baht , splurge at stay at Rimmklong ( 800 THB ) ,... More

Clean and comfy beds. Good place if you have to stop in Trat for a night. Breakfast is not included but there is a nice cafe close by called corner cafe. Also you can go to pier 112. That's pretty much about it of whats worth doing in Trat

I had a night over in Trat and stayed and this hotel. The place looked really nice and new. Room was spacious and clean. It had almost everything you need in the room; towels, soap, shampoo, toilet paper but no other toiletries so bring the rest. A little too much for what I expected to pay but that's all they...
