Very nice hotel. Our room was comfortable and very clean. We came back for a second visit (my husband fell from the motor bike, hurt his shoulder and had to visit Trat hospital). On our second visit we stayed in the suite: slightly more expensive, but really very nice. The suite has a big downstairs and a big upstairs with... More

The Rimklong is a small and very comfortable hotel perfectly located in the town's best area with old wooden houses, a friendly neighbourhood and not far from the interesting night food market. The rooms are of good size (some even more than that), very clean, and well equipped. We stayed in three different rooms, one was the appartment, and were... More

Yes, we DO like boutique-style hotels. Yes, we do prefer them when we have to choose between them and a bigger, less personal hotel. But I'd have to say there was way too much hassle with Rimklong. First, on arrival there was absolutely nobody a the "reception". We had to ask the cleaning ladys and wait for quite a while.... More

Early Feb '15, I arrived at 1.30am, Mr Tooh (pronounced 'two') waited for my arrival, as a solo traveller I was anxious that it would be closed and I'd have to find alternative accommodtion at this late hour (not an easy task in Trat). I stayed just the 1 night in the ground floor, road side room - there is... More

Trat is not a favourite destination and, hotel options there are very restricted. Mr Tooh is a clever host able to catch the western taste: light modern furniture, white walls, toiletries, silent aircon, quiet rooms in the inner part of the town. We spent a couple of nights before going to Ko Mak, and one on the way back. For... More

We stayed in the suite for a few nights. It's beautifully appointed and kept spotless. It felt more suited to a solo traveller, though: furniture was a bit sparse. One of their double rooms might be better for a couple. It's pricey compared to other places in the area, but is much fancier and we really enjoyed our days there.... More

We stayed at the Rimklong hotel for one night after a week in a beach bungalow and it was great to go from beautiful but rustic (bucket showers & toilets, sand everywhere) to a giant comfy bed and giant wet room as a treat. The staff were welcoming and helpful, the cocktails were great, the room was very clean and... More
