This is friendly easy going place, clean basic room. It is a stopover place on our way to cambodia or the islands. We have been here twice and I really like the owner. Great massage nearby --less expensive than on the islands. Good people.

I support the other recent reviews. The place is clean, supportive and safe. No wonder it is booked solid. Serge and his wife are welcoming and provide lots of support and information if you need it. And it is a very good value for money. It is very well located near the night market, but in a quiet street. Overall,... More

if you need a cheap room for a few nights then I can't recommend this place enough. The woman who runs it is lovely the place has a home like feel with a Bohemian twist. Lots of things everywhere makes it feel interesting. Safe place and I really enjoyed staying even though it was just one night would have happily... More

At first I was a bit concerned at what I would find at a guesthouse that only charges 200 baht per night. It would either be a screaming deal or a rat hole. I am pleased to report that Ban Jaidee is a spotlessly clean, simple home stay style guesthouse; exactly the kind sought after and cherished by world traveler... More

Having been recently in Trat/Thailand again, to my very surprise I discovered an excellent new guesthouse. Ban Jaidee Guesthouse is placed in a traditional wooden Thai house. It's in the city center close by the main fresh market, but a bit apart in a sideroad where is little traffic. It's surprisingly quiet there, very cozy, kept very clean and spaceous.... More

Ban Jaidee feels more like a home stay than a guest house. Having arrived in Trat late in the evening during seasonal showers we trusted the guide book and headed over. Check in was conducted by the owners daughter and friend. They could not have been older than 10 and took a break from watching television to get us settled... More

Amazing, homy, relaxing, best stopover in Trat, family feel, down to earth, perfect value for money, great tips, and lots of love. That's all it needs, even if trip advisor wants me to fill 200 signs...

We stayed one night in low season. 200 Baht for a double with shared clean bathroom. Very welcoming owner and her daughter. Good banana pancakes. Room with fan and big clean towels. She adviced us to go to KB-RESORT . Good advice. 790 Baht for fan bungalow including buffet breakfast. Almost at the beach with swimming pool. Very relaxed.

Having stayed in 3 different guest houses on 3 separate visits to Trat, I found Ban Jaidee most welcoming and cosy. The family live on the premises, which keeps the noisy / party crowd away, and the building is decorated with nice art work, chill out seats, and lots of books to buy (cheaply - or you can borrow for... Their good review in the Lonely Planet makes this place fully booked almost every night. Rooms are ok, but not worth the hype. If you want a cheap stay with better value for money there are better options like NP Guest House, just around the corner.
