Having never been to Korea and traveling in Winter, we decided to take our snowboards and check out the future Olympic destination. Traveling to Yongpyong Ski Resort was a little difficult, and we were only able to get a private transfer from Incheon/Seoul. However, I believe a new high-speed train line is being built, which will make reaching the slopes... More

This hotel has the most convenient location in Yongpyong ski resort, facing the slopes and the main lifts / gondola. It has been renovated recently. The rooms are averagely sized and look modern. There's a fridge (with complementary water) but no kettle. The only drawback for us was that it was impossible to turn off the AC and this had... More

Basic but good enough, looks recently refurbished so it's good. Really near slopes and transport out of yongpyong. Best location anyone can hope for. Especially if you have your ski gear with you. Clean rooms. Big tv. With a nice view to boot too if you are staying in the rooms facing the slope

Great location for skiers as you can even watch the skiing from your room. You can also see the ski runs on a TV station. A easy walk to the chair lifts, ticket booth, and ski hire. There is a designated ski store room to leave your skis over night. Excellent WIFI and cable TV. There is a hot/cold water... More

Stayed here for the first time, after having been at other resorts on and off the premises (Greenpia, Alpensia). Chose the standard room which had 1 queen bed. Room was fair size, bathroom could have been a bit bigger. It had newer amenities. Room has a mini fridge but would have been nice if they had provided electric kettle to... More

We decided to spend 3 nights for some skiing and booked a triple room. The hotel was a short 5 minutes walk from the ski shuttle bus stop from Seoul, in fact to the bus stop/station of the ski resort. Unfortunately for us we had to drag our big luggage from the stop to the hotel and wished they could... More

The location is great, it is right by the ski lifts, restaurants and shops. I remember reading on TripAdvisor that the main tower has updated rooms and are preferable to the rooms at the annex tower. I forgot about this when I checked in and they gave us a room at the annex. Fortunately for us though, they upgraded us... More

Great location for serious skiers as you can even watch the skiing from your room. A easy walk to the chair lifts, ticket booth, and ski hire. There is a designated ski store room to leave your skis over night. Spacious room with excellent free wi-fi and cable TV with CNN and BBC, very clean and well serviced. There is... More

Located the nearest from the ski area. Conveniently sandwich between the Dragon Plaza (which is the ski house for ski rentals and food) and Tower Condominium (more food outlets). Family of four, so we stayed in the Ondol room. Heated floor but mattress is a bit thin. So we used the duvet as an extra layer. Hotel charges for extra... More

Our family of five stayed in two different levels in two different units for two nights in early Dec. 2014. It may not be the fault of the hotel's arrangement, but our travel agency! We booked the package through WinterFriend (www.winterfriend.com) in September, and explicitly requested that we would like to have our hotel rooms to be adjacent as we... More
