I like a ski hotel with a lively bar and the buzz of skiers enjoying their apres. Imagine my disappointment when we arrived to find the bar was closed for the season. The room was rather grotty hopefully they will be spending lots of money for the Olympics and this place (which is brilliantly located on the edge of the... More

It was near to Winter period, nice weather but quite cold. At the entrance, there is a Cow statue model, colorful puzzle painted. Beautiful background, as the Yong Pyong Ski Resort is beside it. There is also a gift shop at the lobby, where I bought a ICE Watch. A few walking steps, there's also a Korean restaurant, with those... More

Had major miscommunication issue with booking, we asked for rooms with proper beds (western style, mattress on bed frame) but when we arrived only rooms with heated flooring and soft blankets/padding were available. We had to negotiate for a long while they provided us with a proper room. Everything else was not bad overall.

Was there for a night stop over. It was then still a new hotel. Big reception area and nice cosy room as well as breakfast area. But what surprise me is the surroundings. Nice overlooking lake and traditional houses across the river from where we stayed. morning breeze is a definitely good time for a walk.

It is a very nice place for skiing! There are restaurants, convenient stores and hotels in the skiing resort. I really enjoy skiing during weekdays but it is too crowded on weedend.

It was a very comfortable here at this hotel. even though the hotel itself was not very spacious. The furnishing was traditionally Korean - wooden sliding doors and all, but lovely. We felt rather at home. The climate was cold, so the hotel did not turn on air-conditioning (thank goodness). The facilities were clean and well-kept. Also, the service staff... More

It's spring with fresh air and nice green scenery. Not crowded but still filled with local and foreign tourists, including local school trippers. Many activities to spent a good weekend here. Room was not expensive since it's off season, but food and other things were higher priced. The hotel is right at the entrance to the skiing field, or rather,... More

The 4th day (and 3rd hotel) of my 8 day tour of South Korea from 10 - 17 Dec 2013. Don't know the pricing as it was part of a tour package. We were told that some in the group would be staying at the renovated wing of the hotel so everyone was crossing their fingers to be selected. We... More

Like the reviewer before me, I was also put in the old part of the hotel but did not know it at the time. The rooms there look a decade or older. Having said that, it was still comfortable and the showers were hot at the end of a long day skiing. The staff were friendly and helpful. It was... More
