Fort Ilocandia is a nice hotel with a nice ambiance. It has a big garden lawn and a beach within the resort. You don't have to go out because they have a pool and a beach area. The pool is not so well maintained though but then it's Ilocos so maybe you cant find any hotel this good. The hotell... More

The hotel facilities are bit dated and needing some upgrades. There are some lounge chairs here and there inside the buildings (where the rooms are located) but because the hallways are a bit eerie especially at night, that people don't bother to use them. Activities - There are a lot of activities to do during daytime especially if you are... More

Ok to make it clear we didn't stay in the hotel and certainly glad we didn't . It's a long wY out of Loag city and absolutely nothing around it. It's very old and most of the areas are either not used any more or closed. The casino opens at 1500 for slots and 1800 for tables. The gardens are... More

We were on a tour from Manila. Arriving at the plus entrance and decorations for Chinese New year we were pleasantly surprised. A room upgrade made the experience even better and we found out room well decorated and very clean, the bathroom worked fine with plenty of supplies. Plenty of staff with great attitude. Huge site and great pools. The... More

The place is quite historic due to its connection with the Marcoses. As expected, it is already aging but i think whoever managing right now is doing a good job in making the property still significant to tourist. However, the food in their Palms Bar is awful. Specifically thier Thrilla in Manila Appetizer. It taste like old cooking oil. The... More

My stay was arranged by Mango Tours as the base for a 3 day tour of Ilocos Norte and Ilocos Sur. A nice hotel, allegedly built by Ferdinand Marcos for his daughter's wedding, it is expansive with many more activities than I could take in while on a tour, but looks like it would be a nice leisure stay... except,... We spent 1 night at Fort Ilocandia during a road trip through the northern Philippines The hotel is massive, with a huge area of landscaped grounds (which are particularly nice to walk around in the morning), nice gardens, has a nice large pool and golf-driving range. There are plenty of activities available, unfortunately we didn’t have much time to experience... More

The hotel itself was nice and the rooms were clean. The staff was pretty helpful and friendly. The pool and beach were nice. Then we took a walk through the so called mini zoo and were shocked by the mistreated animals, the monkeys were in cages that had no greenery or anything to make their lives better and some were...
