Hotel had an 'hacienda' feel with its architecture and sprawling grounds. Unfortunately, we only stayed overnight and did not really get to explore the outdoor facilities of the hotel. Room was spacious though it definitely shows signs of aging. They only provided one pillow each and when we requested for additional pillows, we were told that there will be extra... More

I'm making a review of our 30 minute tour of this resort. Our tour guide from Laoag Renzo Hotel said we could go inside the resort and look around for free. I wondered what I would see inside for it to be on the itinerary. We saw enlarged pictures of late Pres. Marcos and his wife Imelda... that's all there... More

I'm happy to have stayed here finally after all these years of hearing about this hotel from parents and friends. Going around this historic hotel was a good experience for us. The atmosphere though is of a grand old lady, so if you'd prefer a more modern hotel with modern decor this might not be for you. Pros: It's a... More

I went home for my Annual vacation and had this hotel as our family reunion venue! It was so convenient with kids swimming pool access, picnic area with cottages and of course the beach! I love the Chinese Food served thats offers a very large family table! Ambiance was perfect and with a lot of history behind it... Staff are... More

This hotel is claims to be a 5-five star hotel in their website. I would say from our experience it is not even a 4-star hotel, so we did not get our money's worth. 1) it is very far from the center of the city and from all other attractions of Laoag. the hotel does not even have a shuttle... More

Awesome place, beautiful garden, gorgeous interior, and grandiose altogether. We only toured around, besides that we already fell the special facilities from rooms to dining area which was visible from the pass way. The boutique sells gorgeous items too. Love the chandeliers and the grand staircase. The garden, well manicured. Excellent amenities and an inspiring place to be.

This is a grand place. The staff are excellent. Hotel grounds are beautiful. Very near the beach. Pool is brilliant and there are two pools too. Massage was good. However, they only take cash. Breakfast was mediocre, as too few fruits - no bananas for example or mangoes. Check-in was a pain as they had lost the reservation. Sill a... More

Fort Ilocandia has the look and the feel of a fort, a fort from the Marcos era, that is. It was literally dark as it was poorly lit, thus giving the hotel a grim atmosphere. It looks old and dated from the interior to the room amenities. It needs major refurbishing. It is so far from the city center so... More

I was able to visit Fort Ilocandia during one of our Medical Conventions.. the garden is very spacious and well maintained... the staff are friendly and accommodating... Rooms need to be improved along with the airconditioning unit... additional lighting needed also along the corridors...

The garden is very beautiful, spacious, green with so many beautiful flower. Room a bit old but it tries to preserve the history. Home to so many beauty pageants held in Philippines. Spanish architectural adds more beauty.
