When you're staying in Naval, you're likely ending up at Marvin's. It's an ok place with attentative staff, although it sometimes took over an hour to prepare lunch or dinner! The main drawback were the showers... we stayed for three nights and during our stay there was not enough pressure (on the top floor) to take a decent shower! So... More

It's not perfect, but there's a lot to recommend Marvin's Seaside Inn. If you are going to be in Biliran, Naval is the hub and no matter where you are going to want to go, Naval is likely to be your base anyway. Marvin's is located out of the city center, which cuts down on the noise and congestion. No,... More

The above tariff was excluding breakfast which including a drink cost about P200. Singles were advertised at P800 on Marvin's brochure but were being charged at P1000. The inn is a three storey complex fronting a rocky section of sea with no easy sea access (although there is a ramp that normally has a locked gate). There is no beach.... More

Our party of 8 arrived unannounced on February 19th, 2012 and had rooms 18 and 19, both large rooms with 3 beds each. Everything was perfectly finished and painted. Clearly the owner(s) are perfectionists, and it gave us a very good feeling about this yellow resort. Not only was everything very well-maintained, but the rooms, bedding and towels were very... Turned up unannounced on a Wednesday and had no trouble getting a room. Php1500 for a deluxe room. Room was great. View out over the ocean was fantastic. Staff were very accomodating to our requests. Dinner was nice. Fresh prawns in the Sinigang. Wifi available in the sitting area near reception. Easy access to the trikes to get to town.... More

Very friendly and warmth staff! The rooms were cleaned up every day (including new bed-set, towels, floors and bath room), everything (air-con, toilet flush, warm and cold water) worked fine. The foods was fantastic, fresh and very delicious! The pool area is in a good condition and gave us a relaxing area after our tour trips. We could really recommend... More

It was a good hotel, however, in my first night my mother said that our meal was tastleless and it worthed Php 340.00, like I said, the comfort room was a little dirty becausewhen it gets wet, the base of the toilet bowl was wet and brown, and the base of the sink was also dirty, as well as small... It turned-out that the Pool side accomodations were all vacant except for our room. Thus, we felt like we rented the whole resort for ourselves. Management was very much accomodating even to the extent of extending pool usage 3 hours after it closes at 7PM. The front desk and kitchen staff were all too helpful. We got important information from... More

We stayed at this hotel during a business trip to Naval, Biliran. The rooms are okay, simple rooms with pool side view or seaview. The service is okay, the staff are friendly. They have a restaurant and also offers wi-fi w/c i haven't tried. The place is almost okay to my standards but unfortunately they seem to lack maintenance on... More

The rooms are simple but ok, The service is also ok. But wifi is slow or doesn,t work at all. The biggest problem hewever is incredible NOISE.
