Crescent Cove is now called Ace Hotel. The location, on a bay with only one other hotel (Yoma Cherry) and two beach shack 'restaurants', is incredible. Very beautiful. Helpful staff, if slightly random service at times. Breakfast was the same every day (noodles, veg, fruit, pancakes) and got a bit samey, but really not a problem. As with anywhere in... More

NOTE: The hotel is now called The Ace Hotel. My partner and I stayed here for three nights in February 2014. The rooms are big, clean and a good standard, although (as mentioned in previous posts) you enter through the bathroom which is a bit strange. The Resort is not on Ngapali Beach itself, but a small local beach packed... More

Stayed here for 5 nights with my partner, got a room with a garden view which also gave us great views of the sea. Rooms a huge but you enter though the bathroom which is a bit random. We got collected from the airport which was nice as we hadn't asked for this service. Location is fantastic just us and... More

This new resort -also known as ACE - is next to Yoma Cherry; they are the only two resorts on a gorgeous crescent - shaped beach just around the corner from the main Ngapali Beach. The location is more secluded and less touristy than the main drag, though it's a working fishing bay with boats landing their catches of fish... More

We stayed there for four nights in early January. When we booked we were told that there was no sea view however when arrived the room had pretty good sea view, we think they define sea view as only the front bungalows. The room was in the main part of the resort and was very spacious and well equipped. The... More

The whole property is in a cove north of "main" Ngapali beach (but you can walk there via road, cca 15 min). The cove is home to a fishing community, so you can learn perfectly how a day of fishermen looks like (noise in the morning from coming boats included). People are lovely, some of them put three tiny restaurants... More

Name has changed to Hotel ACE and can be booked online under that name. New, large, very clean room. Good breakfast and pleasant staff. We enjoyed the activity of the fishing boats bringing their catch in in the morning and leaving late afternoon. It's about a 15 minute walk to Htay Htay restaurant, an excellent place for fresh seafood dinner.... More

Lovely, clean spacious room and bathroom with great views over the bay and the amazing sunsets. A quieter bay with fishermen coming and going all day so something to watch from your sun lounger. Very attentive, friendly staff who make you feel most welcome, as do the locals on this little bit of heaven. Very good breakfast provided but restaurant... More

On arrival we got worried. the reception looked shabby. Usually not a good sign. But then they brought us across the road to our bungalow right on the beach, situated in a beautiful garden (they are watering the plants all day). It was the best room we had on our Myanmar tour; spacious, high ceiling, superb wood finishing all over,... More

We spent 4 nights here, at the end of our wonderful 3 week trip around Myanmar, at the beginning of February. We were in one of the beach side bungalows, so had great views from our balcony across the bay, with incredible sun rises and sun sets. The rooms were spacious , well equipped, with all amenities, and kept clean... More
