We stayed for one night during a two week trip in Myanmar. The hotel was very quiet during our visit (I think we may have been the only guests). The service was excellent throughout our stay. Our chalet was large although the bathroom was a little dated. There was no air conditioning in the room so it was very warm... More

Rooms are in cottages in the garden, it's a very attractive setting and a very good value for the size of the room. very attractive inside too. The place has been very well designed and constructed - the restaurant has very pretty lighting and it's a big airy space - a modern take on a traditional shape. The food in... More

The chalet was well appointed and had wonderful fittings including a wonderful shower, which we were keen to try but alas, no water pressure! We turned on the tap and only a trickle of water came out. It took about 20 minutes to put about 2 inches of water in the bottom of the bath. A bit of a disappointment... More

The hotel is kept well and the setting is pleasant. Our chalet was large and well appointed. Like other reviewers we were surprised by 3 young ladies arriving to spray the room and light the fire. Dinner was OK , but breakfast was a bit disappointing

We enjoyed the friendly welcome and the charming chalet surrounded by gardens. However the wall to the next chalet seemed paper thin and we could hear talking and coughing as though the occupants were in our room. A good thing we are beyond hi jinx! The rooms were large, clean and airy. The dinner menu may be designed to be... More

We stayed just one night as part of our tour of Myanmar. We were given the 'honeymoon' two storey chalet (I don't know what they thought a couple of pensioners were going to get up to but a nice thought). The rooms were furnished in teak but overall was somewhat tired. Whilst we were at dinner they came and lit... More

After a long journey and settling in, relaxing on the bed, I noticed these little flies landing everywhere including the bed. Looking behind the bed, the floor was covered with them ( dead). Not sure what to make of it and then 3 people arrived at the door with large cans of raid (they thought that we were at dinner but... This charming hotel is a group of chalets surrounding cultivated gardens of vegetables. Nice rooms, which in January can be very cold at night. Look out for smokey charcoal fires - no electric blankets. All functions well except for the electric sockets which can be tricky and watch out for slippery floors in the showers. Why is there only one... More

We enjoyed our 1-night stay at the hotel. The chalet was clean and spacious, with a fireplace (we didn't use it, it wasn't that cold), a sitting area and a nice bathroom (with separate, if tiny, toilet). They placed fresh flowers on the bed at turndown, which was a nice touch. We only had breakfast at the hotel. but it... More
