(cont.) For the price difference, we got a bigger room, even cleaner toilet that came with a balcony! Even though the hostel is so centrally located, it is gated and has a parking space roughly 10m away, so it is fairly quiet. On the con side of things, wifi reception was pretty abysmal almost everywhere except out at the reception... More

Chances upon this gem hunting for a cheap bed after staying at Laos Haven (pricier, further, less nice). Took the standard double without the AC option for 70k kips (same rooms, you just pay extra to unlock the AC). Room was well spaced and well ventilated. Clean comfortable bed. Clean toilet. Whole place was generally very clean. Felt homely. The... More

We stayed here twice, first time we booked the 70,000kip room with AC (an extra 30,000Kip) and the second just a 50,000kip room with no AC. The first room was spacious and clean with a large personal balcony. The second room was what you expect. Small with enough space to walk around the double sized bed to the private bathroom.... More

We were directed here by a fellow traveller and weren't disappointed. Great value for the air con triple. Cheapest place we stayed in Asia. Our room had a gigantic balcony which was a bonus. Propaganda speaker near the hotel can get a bit annoying though. Reception was fantastic and perfect English.

A group of fellow travellers and I arrived and took a four person room and a double room as there weren't enough dorm spaces left. The four person room worked out to 30,000 kip per person per night (fan only), the double room 35,000 kip. The room itself was quite big, with a vanity, bench and quite a few coat... More

Free internet, free Nescafe+tea, hot and cold drinking water, and frequently bananas available in reception area; Family TV+eating area in same large room with reception--younger son YELLS to talk, get attention--can be tiresome! Bookings avail, tho check Bus, MiniVan fees against those offered on the street. I was first shown a normal dble rm-- which smelled of mould, for 50K... More

we arrived in Laos after almost 24hours of travelling and were relieved to find what looked like a lovely little guesthouse. We went inside and were greeted with smiles and welcomes, got two rooms and got settled, went out and left our keys at the desk, it's an amazing location, as most guesthouses are in vang vieng, and came back... More or less nice and clean guesthouse. Comfortable rooms. Nice and helpful owner and staff. I will come back. If you ask, your room will be cleaned. Rooms are equipped with TV and/or Aircondition. Located right in th heart of Vang Vieng but still quiet. I stayed there for nearly two weeks and felt very comfortable.

I stayed with my friend at Sisavang Guesthouse for 2 nights. The location is great and it is definitely cheap, but we were happy when we left the place again. Although the rooms were clean, everything was old and filthy. That's why we did not really feel comfortable. I would have paid a few dollars more, If I hadn't had... More
