This was a nice quiet guesthouse located on a side street of Vang Vieng and away from the noisy bars. We had a top floor room with a view to die for, overlooking the river and mountains. Pros: very large room, very large bathroom and a balcony with a lovely view. Centrally located yet quiet and close to the river,... More

The room we stayed in was decent enough, good size. The staff however were rude, obnoxious and were very aggressive towards us. We even heard of the man behind reception being actually physically abusive to some of the customers. Shame about the staff, because otherwise our room was pretty decent.

Pros: great views from top floor, nice big room, tv, fridge, friendly staff, good location far from noise but easy walking distance Cons: dirty (lots of ants everywhere) average: breakfast conclusion: top floor rooms are a bargain if you can handle some grime in the corridors

We spent four nights at this hotel. The rooms were basic, but huge and the spectacular views were free. Position is just far enough away from the hustle of the town centre. The rooms were clean and serviced every day. Good quality beds and a generous balcony. Breakfast was basic, but there was a good choice. Service from the staff... More

This hotel was clean and tidy with good sized rooms. Our room had a lovely balcony and looked out to the river and mountains. Lovely spot to watch the sunset. It was away from noisy bars etc but close enough to walk to dinner and sights. Staff were helpful and breakfast was excellent and included.

We stayed here for two nights as part of a G Adventure trip through S.E Asia. So to cut to the chase, it's a really nice place albeit a bit basic. But I don't mind basic if it is clean, safe and well located. The bathroms were a bit grim but in fairness, the room was very clean and had... More

Vang Vieng offers a lot of different things to do, both in terms of the party options, and the more scenic ones such as hiking through the caves, or having a beer at blue lagoon. The great think about this place, is that it acts as a god place to stay, and does not get involved too much in either,... More

I found here by mistake, I took a tuktuk from the bus station to the hospital as this is the quiet part of town and just walked until I found somewhere that appealed! I paid 100,000kip per night for a room sole occupancy of a room that would take 3 people. The room was a good size, very clean and... More

We stayed for a week and had a lovely large room on the second floor - lovely balcony with table and chairs overlooking the river. They are expanding and there is a bit of construction going on but it is not that bad. Our room was made up every day - the people were friendly - nice and quiet. It... More
