Stayed for an overnighter when travelling through, mainly because the Villa Katwe was full. Reasonable hotel and room based on other options within the area. Cheaper than Brovad and equivalent value based on price. Room was reasonable though basic and grubby. Breakfast typically poor. Friendly staff though not best efficient. Would stay again, but probably third to Villa Katwe and... More

My husband is from masaka and we traveled to visit his family and booked into this hotel for 2 nights. The prices were rather fair and our master suite was relatively large and beds were comfortable with hospital nets. Overall basing on the price, the accommodation was okay. The morning breakfast on the other hand was a disappointment. They seemed... More

I spend about two weeks in this hotel. They have very friendly staff who you can trust, the rooms are definately okay and the showers actually have warm water. Be aware power might be switched off during day time. They have free wi-fi (designated area). In western countries it's normal the rooms get cleaned daily. In Uganda it's a matter... More

The time I was there there was a huge wedding party also staying, so the staff were pretty stressed out and over it. Not good. I think because of it's location (a few mins from the center of Masaka town), and lush lawn, they get a lot of functions - so call ahead would be my suggestion. Otherwise, standard yummy... More

The staff was super friendly and wet out of there way to accommodate our conference. The head of the hotel personally checked on us to make sure all attendees were happy. Beautiful and well kept. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Plus great hot showers!!

The staff was very helpful. Food plentiful and very Ugandan. Rooms Basic and clean. -A bit on the noises side but worth the safe feeling. Close to town and transport. All staff very accomadations. This hotel serves many conference groups.

I stayed for just under a month. The Management, Recption Staff and waitresses are very friendly and helpful. It is a basic hotel, but very clean. Food is very Ugandan, unless there is a large group of guests like Americans - then it is slightly different. Electricity, hot water and Wi-Fi can be sporadic. The hotel does have a generator.... My cousin recommended this hotel and I was happy to give it a go because the owner used to be a friend of my late Father back in the 1970s. He left Masaka for many years so I was happy to see him back.I had to check out after one night. The staff were not trained about customer services at all.I... More

I have stayed at the Maria Flo Hotel several times. I'm always very impressed with the service. The staff is quick to help. They are also very honest; whenever we accidentally left anything out they kept it for us safely. The rooms were clean and nicely furnished. Nice marble floors, televisions, and desks. The location is close to an internet... More
