Good location and has the potential to be a great hotel, it just needs some TLC. The staff were excellent, very friendly and helpful, plus there was Wifi, which was good. It felt a bit like I had returned to the 1960's, but it was clean and well looked after.

Need to fight with receptionist "sami" for a decent room. No hot water. Sun heated water if you are lucky. Aircon working tv working room carpet smelling bad. Restaurant self service medium quality. Spent 1 week one day I left room with a double bed return in the afternoon found 2 beds.:)

We have stayed a couple of nights in Oasis - Gabes for a Meeting. The location is quite good. Staff friendly and helpful , however the premises need renovation. Clean rooms and common areas. Good local food in the hotel's restaurant for a 3 star.

We stopped at that hotel for lunch on a 5-day trip in Tunisia. We ate a buffet-style lunch, with hot and cold items. The food was good, with typical dishes from the region. The employees were nice, as the service. It was a welcoming stop.

So the hotel l'oasis is a really interesting place, the staff are good people and I felt very comfortable there. The restaurant is good too with quite good local fare, I ate there a few times and had some really good items. The soups are very good particularly with the lovely baguettes. The room was comfortable and inexpensive. As is... More

Very good location close to the sea-front and not far from the centre of town with its interesting souk. Gabes is a nice place, relaxed and well-worth a detour for a short stay. Warm welcome at reception, helpful staff, most with good command of English. Clean bedrooms have balconies which overlook palm trees and beyond to the sea: very peaceful,... More

The hotel is from walking distance to the city centre. The room are old, but mostly clean. The main issue with this hotel is that it needs to be refreshed to modern standards. Employee were kind. The breakfast is average. Overall the experience is not amazing, but for the city it is not very expensive and not well below other... More

I have stayed in oasis Hotel for over 1 year now. I can 100% assure you that no one steals cloths or people belongings here. What they have put as a review is not true and is not fair. I think at Oasis there are very very friendly people working. At the reception, at the bar and at the restaurant... More
