We checked in after having a few dry days in southern Morocco ! We were told they had a bar ? But later were told it was closed but they could open it ? We were the only two people in the hotel ! The room was freezing but we were assured a heater would be provided whilst we went... More

Our reviews were not published on our return last year?? Being the only two diners in the restaurant,we were presented with a congealed rice starter, deep fried chicken breast with mushy veg,and a plate of fruit. Having toured Morocco for the past 5 years,wining and dining,we were really disappointed being offered this this from a 4* hotel.

I was in Tiznit for business, and after the beauty of the Moroccan mountains and coast wasn't that impressed with the town itself. The Hotel Idou, however, is a nice break. Stayed two nights in January 2007. Hotel still seems brand new (it was opened by the King a few years ago) so the rooms and corridors are a little bit like a chain hotel, but beautifully spacious, impeccably clean, comfortable, with splendid marbled bathrooms and gallons of hot water.
