One of the best camps we've stayed at so far in Kenya (we live here and have tried many). The managers, staff and guides were all wonderful. It felt like a home away from home. Lewa is like a smaller more personal version of Masai Mara, with far less vehicles. Festus, our guide, was amazing and very friendly and personable.... More

Only camp of 3 we visited that had a dog, named Lucky, and that name aptly fit me when I first crossed cattle/game guard in our first ride in Toyota's best-designed open LandCruiser with driver and spotter so we could see 4 of the big 5 on way from the Twin Otter landing on the dirt strip in the middle... Dear Robb, This review is for our good friends Calum and Sophie of Lewa House, not Lewa Safari Camp. Lewa Wildlife Conservancy is not only beautiful but a world class conservation success story, and we are so happy that you loved your stay here. The Lewa community is very small, with only a very few lodges allowed to operate within... More

This was our second stop in Kenya and our first visit to Africa. Lewa Safari Camp exceeded our expectations in every way- accommodations, food, hospitality- it was all excellent. Vanessa and Marcus were very attentive and the entire staff deserve credit for a fantastic stay. We did the Camel safari and it is not to be missed! Quite fun. The... More

We visited Lewa in May 2014 for my wife’s 50th birthday. We arrived at Lewa’s private airstrip by Cessna Caravan/208 amidst the perfect African Safari backdrop; a manicured dirt airstrip, 4X4 Land Cruisers parked to the side, and exotic Giraffe and Zebra grazing all around just beyond the runway edges. It was everything we imagined for our first trip to... More

We stayed for 4 nights in Lewa, and we enjoyed it. The conservancy is full of wildlife. We had our first cheetah sighting while driving from the airstrip to the lodge, and that was a good indicationof what was coming. Spectacular sightings of cheetah, lion, lots of smaller cats and not least black and white rhino with little ones. Lewa... More

Thank you for your wonderful review. You'll be pleased to know that the resident family of cheetah (mother and 4 cubs) have been up to usual mischief, jumping on cars! You shall have to come back and see them again. We really enjoyed hosting you. Very best wishes, Lucy and all at Lewa Safari Camp More

We stayed at Lewa Safari Camp for 3 nights in June2014 and had an absolutely wonderful time there! This is my first time to Kenya but my husband's 2nd time. He visited Kenya and Tanzania 10 years ago, and stayed at Lewa Safari Camp at the time. Lewa Conservancy and the camp made such a great impression on him that... More

We stayed at Lewa Camp in May and it was absolutely wonderful. Beautiful rooms, lodge, and landscape. We truly were treated like family during our stay and felt at home. The staff are very attentive and work very hard to please. Daniel, our driver, was a very knowledgeable driver. He knew everything about the wildlife. Sometimes we would stop and... More

Spending less than a week your first in kenya is not enough at all, but I am very lucky to have spent 2 days and nights at Lewa! From the masseuse to bartender to guide to even the camp manager, each individual made me feel welcome and as though to be part of the Lewa Family. The views, the animals,... More

We were treated like family the minute we landed a the Lewa airport. The Land Cruisers were there to take us on a game drive and then to our tented rooms.
