Loisaba is the most wonderful conservancy and we had a superb stay in the Kiboko starbeds. We were utterly blown away by just how vast and beautiful Loisaba was, with 56,000 acres wholly to ourselves. Not a soul. Sleeping under the stars on the starbeds was quite incredible – I tried to stay awake all night, just to soak it... More

Visited here a week ago and was lost for words! To find and such an open, serene and undisturbed area in such a chaotic world is like finding a needle in a haystack. It was a home away from home, only better. The service we got in the middle of no where was better than a 7 star hotel. Fiona... More

After numerous trips all over Africa and several to Kenya, the Loisaba experience was the best ever, even compared to the ultra-luxury lodges of South Africa and Tanzania. You won't find the wildlife that you would in, say, Kruger, the Serengeti, or the Maasai Mara, but that's not what matters. It's the entire package, from the million-dollar views from the... More

This is one of my favourite places in Kenya. The game-viewing experience may not be as intense as the Mara, but there is a real sense of being in Africa here, and the stunning views and amazing birdlife more than make up for any lack in "big game." Having said that, in just three days we saw a huge pride... More

I was taken by friends with little idea what to expect - so it was all a revelation. I loved the star bed - with all of Africa before you and a real African sky above unspoiled by light from settlements. The range of wildlife on the door step is staggering and a walking safari is a must to really... More

I have been a regular visitor to Loisaba and this was my first time staying in the newly renovated star beds, and what a treat it was. An excellent stay, staff all super-friendly, kind and helpful. The views were amazing and sleeping in a star-bed a really fantastic experience. Looking up and watching the stars move and change during the night. Horse riding with a huge herd of Oryx. Relaxing by the pool at the cottage with great food. Well worth a visit :-) I can thoroughly... More

There is not much to add to the reviews below. This is a truly beautiful place to stay with excellent yet unobtrusive service, guides that really know their stuff and really beautiful accommodation.
