We were expecting good things of this camp, and they lived up to the expectation. Sonya and Andy are welcoming, and make you feel instantly at home. The tents are spacious and have a great view of the 'pond'. The Egyptian Geese certainly know how to serenade you to sleep! There are stunning sunrises there - make no mistake you will... More

This was our second stay there and not our last! Andy and Andrew provided wonderful game viewing, food and lodging. The fact other guest were there in a small private atmosphere made it even more interesting as you meet people from all over the world that share the same love of nature. Andrews knowledge of the animals and of kenya... More

Loved every minute from wake-up call with coffee/tea/hot chocolate to the long and fabulous game drives to the delicious meals and comfortable tents. We saw so many animals--cheetahs, lions, giraffes (a herd of about 20 at one stop alone), of course rhinos (17 in one morning), vast herds of buffalo, hyenas, oryx, zebra (both Common and Grevy's), elands and all... This was my first trip to Kenya and it was AMAZING. Everyone at Kicheche Laikipia was so friendly, welcoming and professional. Andrew the manager was a fellow photographer so it was nice to "talk shop" with him a bit. My driver, Peter, knew EVERYTHING about what we saw and I learned so much from him. The food was exceptional and... More

CONSERVING KENYA! I have been to Kenya several times. I even honeymooned there so far back i don't want to say. However it has been a good 10 years since i visited the last time, mainly because i found that the Safari operators in Kenya had lost their way and started making a Disney attraction out of what was a... Kicheche is wonderful. You get a real, intimate experience out there. Some of the highlights that set it apart are: The owner Greg, is so very passionate about conservation and works extremely hard to preserve the area in the Mara and Laikipia. The managers at the camps are all couples and live on the premises. Sonja at Laikipia Camp is... More

We recently returned from the most amazing holiday in Kenya..namely the Kechechi Laikipia camp, hosted by Andy and Sonya Webb..truly fantastic people. Sonya met us when we arrived and took us to sit in front of the dining and lounge tents for a refreshing drink and cold towels which smelt heavenly of eucalyptus. She gave us lots of information about... More

Our stay here was perfect from start to finish. The camp is a beautiful place overlooking the waterhole where we saw elephant and buffalo from our veranda. Andy and the staff were very friendly and helpful, we especially got on well with William. We had 2 guides during our stay and enjoyed a picnic breakfast with them each morning. The... More

Beautiful setting facing a man-made lake with plenty of wildlife, really outstanding service and excellent food. A small negative is the slightly dated safari tents which are not as light, airy and comfortable as some, while the lighting is a little on the dim side. And then there is the game viewing of the Ol Pejeta Conservancy, a great place... More

The hosts at Kicheche Laikipia made me feel at home. The food is delicious, the tents are beautiful and the experience here is just wonderful. Andy and Sonja take every detail into consideration, from the handwritten welcome card to the fresh flowers in my tent. I fell in love with this place! The guides were so knowledgable and kind and...
