We travelled from Kicheche Mara camp to Laikipia for the second leg of our holiday. Again the Kicheche welcome was wonderful and we were truly spoilt by Andy, Sonja and all the camp staff. Game viewing wasn't quite as plentiful as at the Mara but the abundance of rhinos (both black and white), the family of wild dogs living close... More

This was our family's first experience of both Kenya and safaris - and Kicheche Laikipia was our first camp. What a good start. Excellent and relatively easy game viewing, with great variety - you can see virtually all the animals you hope to see during your whole stay in Kenya just in this one place, plus the specialities of this... I stayed at the Kicheche camp last week upon the recommendation of a travel agent that had visited herself. It genuinely couldn't have been any better, from the minute we arrived till we left we were treated like royalty. Our flight to Nairobi landed an hour late, followed by a late departing flight from Wilson, meaning we arrived at camp... More

Stayed at the Kicheche Laikipia for 3 nights with my wife. It was the 3rd camp of our Kenya safari trip and the 6th safari camp overall (including 3 camps in a previous trip to Tanzania). Location: The camp is situated at the Ol Pejeta Conservancy which is an amazing place to see the endangered rhinos and wild dogs as... More

We had the most wonderful stay at Laikipia at the beginning of July. We were travelling as a family of 4, so occupied the family tent which was huge and incredibly comfortable. We loved the fact that an elephant wandered by about 30 seconds after we checked in! Everything about Laikipia is perfect. The staff were wonderful. The food was... More

This was our families first trip to Kenya and we were not disappointed. We arrived at Kicheche Laikipia tired from our long journey from Canada and were warmly welcomed by our guide Peter at the airport. We were blown away by the abundance of game we saw just driving to the camp for the first time and Peter was so... More

We are fortunate enough to live on the doorstep of Ol Pejeta so staying at a camp in the conservancy is something of a treat; Kicheche Laikipia Camp ticks all the boxes in terms of accommodation, food, location and wonderful staff led by a management team that set quality standards combined with a clear love for the camp and the... My wife and 16 year old son and I visited Kenya in late June/early July 2014. Our second stop was in the Ol Pejeta Conservancy at Kicheche Laikipia. What an amazing place this is. We were able to spend three nights in Kicheche and experience the amazing hospitality of Andy and his whole staff. Our driver/Guide was Isaac. Isaac not... More

This is an excellent small intimate camp with only 6 tents which are reasonably well spread out. The tents themselves are very spacious with a very comfortable large king size bed, hot and cold running water which includes the shower. No bucket showers here!!. The lighting in the tent is power by the camps solar panels so it isn't particularly... More

We were expecting good things of this camp, and they lived up to the expectation. Sonya and Andy are welcoming, and make you feel instantly at home. The tents are spacious and have a great view of the 'pond'. The Egyptian Geese certainly know how to serenade you to sleep! There are stunning sunrises there - make no mistake you will... More
