This was our first visit to Porini Phino Camp and I certainly hope not the last. We, I and my sister are both elderly, 74 and 78 years old and don't move so easily any longer but with the extremely caring and helpful staff from manager to nightwatchman everything was made easy. We saw lots of animals especially rhinos, and... More

Brilliant place in general! Plenty of animals to be seen, guaranteed! Daniel and Little John are the best ever to not only show you every single animal+bird that you might want to see.... but also know their names, species, details of their life/habits and other details! Wonderful people.:) Game drives and bush walks are great fun, always exciting. The camp... More

This was the second camp we visited on our safari this past September. I marked this as solo travel, as that is what I started out doing, but to my sheer joy, I was joined by my adult son and his girlfriend. Porini camps were recommended to me on TA, as a solo traveler because of their small size and... More

This was the 2nd Porini camp on our itinerary and just like Amboseli, our first camp, it was exceptional. The welcome is warm, the staff are so genuine and the guides, Daniel and Christopher were ours, do their utmost to fulfil any wishes clients have to see particular animals. In fact at this camp we managed to tick off the... More

This camp was my favorite. I loved all the people here and everything about this camp. When Chris and Michael picked my up we stopped at the equator stuff and I got to see the water trick. Then on the way to camp we stopped on another equator sign. Played with the balance beam and took a ton of pictures.... More

We started our honeymoon safari at Porini Rhino - and what a start! Jackson and Little John, our guides explained that Porini means Wild and the camp really is in a beautiful isolated place, with a wonderful watering hole that attracted giraffes, zebras and lots of other animals - we had a great view from our tent! You can see... More

Porini Rhino Camp was our 2nd Stop while in Kenya and what an amazing experience it was. We loved every moment. Our guides were Daniel and Benjamin and they were amazing, their sense of humour was great and their knowledge was incredible. We saw a male Cheetah catching a young Waterbuck and also a male Lion with a Cow all... More

I love this camp! Stop #2 out of Porini Amboselli, Rhino, Lion. In the first 10 minutes we came across two Rhinos about 50 feet away from us! The food and service was fantastic just as it is at all the Porini camps. Would definitely stay here again. The watering hole outside the camp is amazing. We saw giraffes, Rhinos,... More
