An amazing Camp Resort on the Equator. The tents are located in midst of wooded areas. The well-appointed tents are more like cottages offering view of vast lands from your tent. Elephants, Rhinos, Zebras, Impalas come to greet you right outside your tent. Well-spread out food at breakfast, lunch, dinner. Surprised to get delightful vegetarian meals. The chef and staff... Stayed at Sweetwaters for a night while at Ol Pejeta. The rooms are very well appointed, all the comforts of a big hotel in a tent! The food was not bad at all - to be honest, it was much better that the Fairmont Mount Kenya Safari Club, which I have stayed at numerous times. The staff are truly standout... More

We stayed in one of the new tents and it was amazing. It sits right on the edge of the reserve with vast views of all kinds of wildlife. The tent had a king bed, double vanity and walk in shower. Really glamorous camping! The quality of the food and service was also fantastic. The reserve itself is not a... More

The Sweetwaters Camp has almost everything you could ask for, comfortable beds, good food and attentive staff and charming elevated tent accommodations. That being said, it didn't feel as authentic as other camps we had stayed at during our tour of Kenya. The waterhole viewing area seemed like an exhibit a zoo would have in its African section and it... More

this is one amazing hotel! its sort of tents - but some are located on wooden structures, and are very comfortable. the view is great - if you have a test watching the channel and water hole - all you need to do is seat on your porch and enjoy the wide variety of animals coming and going - elephant... this is an amazing property. me, my wife and 2 teens stayed in 2 adjoining tents. The tents were clean and had great showers. Wifi worked good. We stayed further past the watering hole but we had a great view of all the animals from our deck. We liked having the lower level tents closer to the park and a... More

The staff were very friendly and ensured our stay there was comfortable. In the morning it is possible to see Mount Kenya from the hotel (if it's not very cloudy that is). One night we had supper while two rhinos were just across us near the water hole. It's a very lovely place.

Friendly staff welcome you to this quaint camp that has a watering hole for visiting wildlife. Giraffe, bush bucks, warthogs, rhino and elephant amongst others can be spotted. Game drives into the park are offered and there is a fee for the park. Food is buffet style and quite tasty.
