Spectacular grounds and elegant rooms, but given the amount of money that the hotel charges per night the service was terrible and food was mediocre. The staff were friendly and are trying hard but need some serious training to service a hotel of this calibre. We will not be returning. More

I was there only for a day and from the moment the driver entered the gates, I knew, smelt and felt like the doors to paradise had just been opened. It is a truly incredible hotel..superb rooms, breathtaking views, beautiful expansive grounds and 7 star service. It is arguably Kenya's best hotel. Keep it up! More

Beautiful place, set on expansive beautiful grounds! It's about 3 hours from Nairobi, pricey, but when you get there, you can see why. The rooms are well done, they have a fireplace (it gets awfully cold because of proximity to Mount Kenya, rains a great deal too) They also, very discreetly place water bottles in the beds in the evening....
