My Kongoni Camp experience was very pleasant beginning to end, starting in the car park and checking out the following morning. The banda (c2)was really very comfortable. The shower is GREAT! The surroundings are very pleasant and green. And to cap it alI the food is brilliant. l enjoyed my simple meal but watching a fellow diner demolish a hamburger... More

My friends and I were warmly welcomed to Kongoni Camp and it was great service all through. The food was extra delicious and the portions were more than adequate. I am definitely planning to visit the establishment again and again!!! Great work Chef Dennis and crew!

After one great big welcome from a Fridah, we were quickly presented with the menu. We (my friends and I) started having strange ideas of goats or llamas when part of it was written potato peels. Thought that there we were being zero-grazed in preparation of being offered as a sacrifice to a certain wooly deity. The ambiance was clean... More

We arrived planning to squeeze 3 into one room and the staff were very helpful and generous in providing 2 rooms for us when we checked in. The staff continued to excel while we ate a very excellent 3-course dinner from a menu that offered a wide selection of options. The breakfast finished it off in similar style. The location... More

Where do I start, The meals are done so keenly that they are no where close to average, the service is superb, the ambiance is very relaxed and great for overnight stays and lunch stop overs on your way to climb Mount Kenya or as you heard North To Samburu. Its a Habit to sample different lodges with Kichakani Sunset... More

Stayed in one of the roundavels - which we enjoyed for the novelty factor. The room was very basic, but comfortable enough if you're not fussy and don't mind cosiness. The attached restaurant and bar was popular and we enjoyed both dinner and breakfast there. The owner was a chef in the UK for a long time so the quality... More

Spent a couple of days here. The rooms are basic but clean. The staff are friendly and efficient and the restaurant is very good - good food and good prices! If you are looking for value for money in Nanyuki you'll not do better.

Dogs bark inside the camp all night. You simply can't sleep through the mayhem; the rock-solid mattresses are dreadfully uncomfortable as are the bouncy cheap foam pillows. You won't get a good nights sleep here. The camp itself is very attractive and much work has gone in to making it a tranquil setting to enjoy a drink or a meal.... More

The location & setting is great. Two main things which reduces the rating of this accommodation. First is we could hear music in our rooms starting at 4AM which was not very nice. Second was that very little though has been put into the practical aspect of the toilets in the bathrooms, I could hardly fit on the toilet! Breakfast... More

After fleeing from the nightmare that is Sportsman's Arms, this was an oasis of peace for us. We could finally take a shower in a clean bathroom and breath in without fear of catching something and airborne diseases. The food is fabulous and the F&B supervisor there is particularly great. The rooms are simple but clean and the staff are... More
