Firstly forget any concerns about Ebola. Kenya is as far away from West Africa as London is from New York. There is NO Ebola threat here. My 18 year old daughter and I had a splendid time at Sirikoi . We stayed five nights as a half term break from her boarding school in UK.. We had two individual bedrooms... More

We're so pleased the two of you enjoyed your stay with us, and glad you picked Sirikoi for the entire five days of your holiday. It was a pleasure to have you staying, and good that you got to enjoy so much wildlife, both out on your drives, and while in camp. Hopefully we'll see you back next year, with... More

First, I must start with saying that I was hesitant to travel to Kenya for this vacation due to all the bad press that has been spread throughout the USA and Canada. My reluctance was totally unfounded. Flying into Nairobi, there is a fever check of every passenger, not to mention they banned all flights from any ebola stricken countries... More

Arriving at Lewa Downs airstrip, we were greeted by James, our guide and driver. On the way to the lodge we saw a loin, elephants and rhinos.. and we had not even arrived yet. We stayed in the cottage with elephants grazing 30 feet from the deck.. the cottage had 2 gigantic bedrooms each with a huge bathroom, fireplace and... More

Thank you so much for your amazing review and taking the time to write. I am so pleased you enjoyed the Sirikoi hospitality and of course the wonderful fresh produce. Sue is a wonder in that garden. We began our honeymoon at Sirikoi and it remains the highlight of our trip. Lewa itself is a beautiful place but the grounds and the accommodation at Sirikoi are amazing. We loved coming back to our tent from dinner each evening and being welcomed to bed with a cozy fire. The staff were so warm and welcoming and our guide,... More

From the moment you arrive at Lewa Downs the magic is everywhere. So too with Sirikoi. An above average camp on the conservancy, Sirikoi is full of over the top excitement and pleasure. Well appointed tents provide a secure and comfortable base from which you can explore the massive Lewa Preserve. Famous for Rhino's the preserve boasts a wide variety... More

We're so pleased you enjoyed your stay with us. We thoroughly enjoyed having you both here - it was fun getting to know you and share in your appreciation of everything. I cannot say enough about the fabulous time we had as a family at Sirikoi. We stayed in the 2 bedroom thatched house that had views of the elephants eating in the morning as we sipped our coffee on the huge deck. There was a living room with a fireplace and each room was huge - It was enclosed with... More

Wow! We stayed here as part of our package with Abercrombie & Kent. ATMOSPHERE: The lodge consists of several outrageous cottages and 4 tents (similar to Tortilis Camp but more luxurious.) There's a main outdoor dining area under the shade of a canvas canopy and trees, complete with fire pit. It has great views of the greenery of the property... More

I have been home for a week and dream of returning to Sirikoi Lodge. We stayed in the cottage which was lovely. Waking up to the swamp noises and having really hot water and plenty of electricity to charge electronics. The orphaned giraffe visited us one evening. She's beautiful. We spent 4 full days at Sirikoi, the first of 3 weeks in game parks, in Kenya and Tanzania. We would highly recommend this tented camp, there is little we could find to complain about.
