I recently spent my second weekend get away from the city at OPBC, and I will definitely be going back soon. Living in Nairobi, I get the occasional itch to leave the city and get a taste of nature. The problem is, I don't have the time, or frankly, the budget to jet off to the Mara once a quarter.... More

We had a wonderful stay at Ol Pejeta Bush Camp. The tents are lovely and the food was delicious. We had a great time eating breakfast as we were entertained by the baboons, zebra, and impala! And drinking wine under the stars by the campfire was a perfect way to end the day. Our safari drives were full of animals,... More

We had the most wonderful stay at Bush Camp....incredible, with black rhino mating right by the camp, warthogs frolicking and elephant wandering by while we had sundowners in front of our tents....it could not be more wonderful. The food was absolutely delicious, the tents luxurious, and our guides knowledgeable and experienced. A delight.

This is one of Africa's finest opportunities! Simple, but sophisticated. Hosted by marvelous and friendly, well trained staff. Chef is outstanding and advice on animal drives is superb! The owner is fully engaged with visitors and shares very interesting facts from his family heritage; he is a third generation Kenyan who has deep roots in Kenya tourism. This is a... More

If you're looking for a unique experience in the Kenyan bush, this is it. The bush camp is located smack in the middle of the Ol Pejeta Conservancy on the banks of a river. So there's a constant parade of wildlife (on the other side of the river!) that you can take in from either your tent, the dining tent... More

The campsite is very beautiful and all the tents were amazing. All the food we got was also excellent and all my allergy requests about the food were fulfilled. Service in the camp is on a level that I have never felt before and the staff members are friendly to a point that it seems little funny to a Finnish... More

The river curls around the camp with its steep, verdant banks acting as a natural barrier between rich wildlife and guests lounging in comfort or relishing a Tusker beer by the camp fire. Real elephantine tuskers paused on the opposite bank enjoying the salt lick. We were there after the rains with young animals abundant - 'tiny' elephants suckling, jackal... More

Not only was I greeted with a refreshing beverage and warm towel to wash up, but minutes after relaxing in the guest tent facing the river, a large bull elephant came out of the bush to say hello (I'm pretty sure that's what he said anyway!). I can't say enough about the entire staff and Alex and the accommodations -... More

A colleague and I were undecided on what we should do for our weekend off on a work trip. After a few emails back and forth from Alex we decided to head to Ol Pajeta Bush Camp. This proved to be a great decision and we both left reluctantly! From pick up to drop off we were impressed with the... More
