I stayed at the Lake Elementaita Serena Camp with my colleagues on February 2nd to 6th, a stay that was by far the most memorable in all Bush Safaris I've taken. Each interaction with the staff, starting from the reception we received at arrival, service during meal times, room service, help at the pool, was nothing short of delightful. The... More

When I conclude at the end of a visit that three nights is not enough, by any standards it is clear that this particular property ticked all the right boxes in my mind. Already the approach, off the main highway from Nairobi to Nakuru, takes one into a different landscape and triggers a different mindset. It is away from it... More

We've made a booking directly with the hotel for 2 nights, family of 5 people. A very pleasant lady booked for us 3 tents next to each other. Easy 2 hour drive from Nairobi and you're there. The camp is set on the shore of the lake, so you have gorgeous views from every point of the camp. Tents are... More

Great hotel, with excellent staff who are very polite and helpful. The rooms are big and luxurious, well maintained as well. The food is also 5 star. I definitely recommend a stay here. Very romantic destination. There are various activities to keep you busy at the hotel. They have archery, horse riding, nature walk along the lake overlooking the wildlife. They... More

We stayed at the Serena last weekend for 1 night, and I must say we were all impressed by this hideaway. The lodge/camp is set by the lake in the Conservancy and has beautiful grounds and lovely rooms. The staff throughout the lodge are very helpful and attentive, and the food is of very high standard. There are also various... More

On our way back from Kisumu by road to Nairobi one weekend, my husband surprised me and took a detour to this little paradise we had heard so much about from an aunt... It's quite the hidden paradise as you have to drive off road, in the middle of the bush to almost nowhere... Only to get to a junction... More

This was a quick weekend birthday getaway. The rooms were perfect - huge and spacey. The weather back in October was nice, warm and not too chilly at night. The service was impeccable and the food was amazing. Loved it all. The camp has beautiful decor, there are lots of old artefacts that add to its colonial beauty (more on... More

Check in-fast and welcome non-alcoholic and alcoholic drink served. Food-Ala Carte Rooms-Large enough, clean room and bedding, ammenities available, hot water, everything available. Swimming Pool-Found it to be small and does not accomodate for kids who cant swim in deep waters. Compond-beautiful,well manicured, but no form of evening or day entertainement for the ones who don't want to go for day tour around the area.... More
