Pioneer Lodge was a last minute serendipitous find for us late at night. It's conveniently located close to the south entrance. The rooms are clean and contemporary, rustic decor with a fridge and microwave. There are many restaurants across the street and a good hotel restaurant -- try their Pioneer burger! more

Good spot to stay in when visiting Zion National Park as it is five minutes drive from the entrance, and also the shuttle buses stop just outside. Hotel is good quality motel, with a reasonable quality restaurant onsite. Room is clean, spacious and comfortable. Check in isn't until 4 so don't get there early. more

The entire town of Springdale is right at the base of the park. The shuttle stop to the park is across the street.
