A wonderful stay. The location next to Zion Park cannot be beat. The rooms were nice and quiet. The gardens were nice, but we enjoyed going down to the beach area by the river and sitting on a rock with our feet in the water to relax after a hot day hiking in the park. The cliffs were beautiful to... more

The Best Western is a better bang for the buck, if that's what you are looking for. However, the Cliffrose does offer things besides a wonderful room that you need to know about. 1. You can walk to Zion Park entrance and that is a huge thing. 2. Their garden is a significant plus, if you like ambiance. If you... more

My boyfriend and I stayed at the Cliffrose Lodge in Feb 2009 and had a fantastic experience. It's the closest hotel to the Zion Park entrance, which was a nice surprise. Staff was excellent and very helpful. The pool wasn't open yet since it was too cold, but the hot tub was -- very relaxing! There was a great coffee... more

This is a basic motel style lodge that has been updated with nice linens and flat screen tv. Very clean. Location is great. The view from the pool/jacuzzi is amazing. Located on the virgin river. We enjoyed drinks by the fire pit after a long day of hiking. You can buy fire wood at the market located 1/2 mi. from... more

Just stayed two nights at the Cliffrose. It is wonderfully situated just a short distance from the entrance and visitor center at Zion National Park. The setting of the hotel is dramatic. My little porch looked right on at dramatic red cliffs! This motel has worked hard to be something more. The rooms are not large, but are comfortable. Great... more

Just returned from 3 nights at the Cliffrose. It is beautifully situated a short walking distance from the entrance to Zion and the rooms have views of surrounding peaks and rock formations. The walking distance location means that you do not have to wait for the shuttle bus. The Cliffrose is basically a motel, you drive right up to your... more

We were here for 2 nights in the king suite. Kids had a pulldown bed in living room. The room was very clean & comfortable with great amenities. We did our own breakfast & sat out on the balcony with the most stunning view. The grounds are immaculate & absolutely gorgeous. Kids loved the pool & jacuzzi. The park is... more

Being a mom and usually short on time like most, I'm going to make this review short and sweet for you. I highly recommend this hotel especially for families with young children. Ours are ages 5 and 8. - request a riverside room with 2 queen beds, on the main floor - your room will have an outdoor patio that... more

Fantastic new pillow-top matresses, flat screen TV, and free wireless internet. Nice bathroom, shower had lots of hot water, strong water pressure, and new shower curtain that curved outwards for more elbow room. Stayed in winter during snow and cold, and heat was great. Balcony overlooking sheer red rocks of Zion, just breathtaking. Excellent location. Perfect in every way. more

Dropped into the manager's office late one night. They had rooms, of course because it's off-season, and we were given a room in front, adjacent to the street. The good was that the room was really reasonable. The bad was that the walls are paper thin. When the guests next door came in, we could hear all their conversations. Every... more
