We decided on a last minute side trip to Zion and booked a night at Driftwood Lodge. We arrived around dusk to marvel at the surrounding area from property at the Driftwood that is mindfully situated to appreciate nature. Everything was very pleasant. There was a private patio in the unit to enjoy dusk, dawn and the night sky in... More

When we walked into the lobby my teenage son said, oh arty. That is true. The rooms are beautiful. Big Windows to take in the red rock cliffs. Granite counters. Big fluffy towels. Patio with a view for breakfast. The Hampton Inn is my second choice, nice but not as "arty".

Recently decided to tour Zion National Park and wanted to avoid a chain hotel - booked through Expedia and didn't exactly know what I was in for. We were driving down from Salt Lake and weren't sure if we'd make their midnight lobby shutdown time and they were very accommodating. Getting there at night - it was a wondrous surprise... More

We stayed here during our trip to Zion national park and originally had booked only 1 night in a 2 Queen bed signature room. Once we got here we fell in love with it and saw that our room was so secluded with a private patio and had the most amazing views to wake up to!! We loved it so... More

Trip Advisor is my go-to for finding non-chain lodging and once again, the reviews here are spot on. We stayed 2 nights in a room in the Narrows section and were very satisfied. Pros and cons of Driftwood Lodge: Pros: Friendly and helpful staff. The tub in our shower was not draining properly and the young lady at the front... More

We stayed here June 26-27, 2014 in the Court of the Patriarchs section nearest the river and facing ZNP. Spectacular view, oversized room, fridge, microwave. Big great bathroom! Comfy beds! Vaulted ceiling! Beats Cliffrose Lodge and Majestic View Lodge for the value!

My boyfriend and I stayed here in June after camping for two nights. The staff was extremely accommodating and upgraded our two queen beds-room to a king bed room with a spectacular view. The room was updated, very clean. It was the perfect place to sit out on the balcony with a glass of wine and watch the sun set... More

We wish we had more time to spend at the hotel and in Springdale! Family suite was spacious, clean and comfortable. Breakfast buffet was just right and very convenient. Shuttle stop to Zion was right outside of the hotel. Staff was very friendly and worked with me when I made a mistake on my initial reservation. Would definitely stay here... More

Clean, great people, reasonable price, good location (due to easy access of free shuttle bus downtown and Zion)... Needed: complete rethinking of the free continental breakfast. The waffle was probably the worse I've ever had.. Could not cut it with a fork... No basic items for hiking and hot weather like bananas, yogurt, fruits other than watermelon... Breakfast was not... Our family of four recently spent three nights at the Driftwood Lodge just outside of Zion Park. We thought everything about the stay was excellent: the decor of the main building where we ate breakfast; the friendly staff; the great breakfast selection; the nice clean rooms; the balcony of each room; and the swimming pool and hot tub (which was...
