We stayed here 5 nites. Turns out, this IS a lodge, not a hotel. A lodge as in, the person who owns it likes to kill beau coup animals and then display them in the hotel lobby and gift shop area. Okay. But this is Zion N.P. Utah, not Alaska (or even Africa) where the animals come from. Living on... More

I am sorry you did not enjoy the decorations & atmosphere of the lodge. Everyone has different tastes & appreciate different things. I always recommend that anytime one plans on staying in a hotel, they check the website where pictures are posted of the whole property. Fortunately your room was clean & comfortable. More

The only reason I didn't rate it 5 is that the last day of our 4 day stay our water was luke warm for our showers and didn't heat up. It was a cold day (approx 23 F) but the rest of the stay the water was scalding so I don't know if there was a problem with the system... More

Thank you for your review. I am happy you enjoyed your stay with us. I apologize for the problem with the water temperature, unfortunately plumbing problems can arise at times. I hope you will consider staying with us again when you visit Zion. More

This is a true treasure, we arrived at night so we were blown away with the view of Zion Canyon from our room and balcony in the morning! Great lodge with a yummy restaurant, gift shop and heated pool and spa which were great as we are traveling in late December and the temp was 30 during the day and... More

I am glad you had such a pleasant stay with us. Our spa is kept toasty all year, but our pool is quite chilly in the middle of winter. We do heat the pool from April through October though, weather permitting. More

This lodge is a great value. Just three miles from the main entrance to Zion. Rooms were very nice and rusticly furnished. Very comfortable bed and a decent size flat screen TV with Dish Network. A very pleasant surprise for the price paid. Off season rate was $76 and they said this was half of the normal rate, which considering... More

Our family spent Christmas week of 2014 here. The hotel has a great feeling of a western lodge and has nice rooms, pool, gift shop, Native American Indian museum, animal museum and dining room. The dining area has a greater view of the mountains than most lodges in National Parks. The food was very good and service was very good.... More

The views from the room are majestic, and I love the rustic outdoor decor theme. The amenities are not of 5 star caliber, but they were still quite good. The rooms were comfortable, clean, and spacious. The private balcony/patio is a nice touch. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The amazing hidden wonder is the beautifully done and realistic... It is quite a hidden wonder. Zion National Park is truly a magnificent place to visit. Not many people realize that we have a wildlife museum. I thank you for your comment on that as I hope it will draw attention to help draw others in. Every room does come with its own private patio or balcony, each with a... More

This was our first time in Utah and Zion! Didn't know what to expect, it was over thanksgiving weekend, we stayed there three nights, what can I say...it was super relaxing, the charm of the hotels cabin decor was fitting for the location, we luved that we had our own balcony with French doors, you can sit outside and enjoy... Zion truly offers travelers a break from one's busy schedule. You can go at your own pace and the view does not end when the sunsets. The town of Springdale, UT has a strict light ordinance to truly make the night sky stand out. I am more than elated that you enjoyed your stay with us. We would like to... More

We stayed one pleasant night at the Majestic View Lodge after visiting Zion National Park. All the staff we met was very courteous and helpful, greeting us with a smile. The lodge is a couple miles from the entrance of Zion, making it a great base to explore the park. There are hotels even closer to the entrance, but the... More

Nice, clean rooms. Very friendly staff. Great views of the mountains. The hotel is the farthest from the park entrance, but at about 3 miles, it doesn't matter one bit. Lots of great places nearby to shop and eat. Couldn't really ask for anything more!

The Majestic View Lodge offers a wonderful experience. The rooms were clean, the steakhouse was well priced, the staff was nice, and the view was gorgeous. Please check this place out if you are going to Zion National Park for any period of time.
