What a disappointment. With a view of Zion "to die for", this place was such a dump. No ice machine, wireless internet access didn't work, "continental breakfast" began at 8:00 am (need to be in Zion EARLY), bathroom walls & ceiling under construction, not much good to say about this place. Oh yeah, the A/C worked well! more

My aunt booked this hotel through Orbitz. When we arrived, they made us pay before showing us the room -- and now I know why. The office was so small and not very clean. It's also where they had a continental breakfast -- but the the life of me, I don't know where they could have served food. We were... more

The manager at the lodge was extremely rude. We had to call to change our reservations, and the manager wouldn't do anything until I spelled my name 4 times and gave the credit card number and gave the 15 digit confirmation number. It was terrible. He wasn't paying attention to anything I said too. It was like my call was... more

By all means the "Terrace Brook Lodge" is a l-o-d-g-e. If you remember that, you will probably be just fine. I went with a group of 20 and some decided to camp out in tents at the Zion Center while others stayed at the Lodge. Those who chose to camp out in their tents kept saying how dumb it was... more

We used this place as our base camp for exploring Zion. We got the suite which had a room with king bed, and another room with two full beds. There was just one bathroom. We were able to sleep 6 and it was a bit tight and one bathroom was a big problem, but we were able to deal with... more

This place is an absolute disaster. Here are my gripes: 1. The staircase up to our room on the second floor was made of wood and so rickety, I noticed a portion was propped up with a piece of wood. It felt shaky and as if we might fall through the stairs at any moment. 2. The room was a... more

I've stayed at this motel 5 times over last 12 years, and although basic it's always clean, and the staff always helpful. Our last couple of visits were with 4 of us, staying in 2 room, 3 bed 'suite' for 4 or 5 nights - which in 2005 was $79 a day - where else would you find that sort... more

Any motel in Springdale is a good location to view the great Zion National Park. This lodge is dated. Please look at the picture of the former indoor chairs sitting outside the lodge for outdoor chairs now. The first room I was shown I rejected and ended up staying in the upper lodge. The room was dreary and poorly painted... more

I had the exact same problem as Wandervogel in Boston. I had bites and saw bed bugs in the middle of the night. Called the manager, moved rooms, and then found cockroaches in the bathroom! Staff at reception acted surprised that there was a problem and offered us a discount, but I asked for the whole night free. He said... more

I saw the reviews here after we had booked the room. We were somewhat concerned by what we read. It wasn't the Hilton but I knew that by the prices. I got what I felt I paid for, a clean and comfortable room but nothing fancy. It was extremely quiet. I didn't hear a single noise the whole night. The... more
