We have just returned from a two night stay at El Rio. The location was good - a short walk to the bus to Zion. However I am sure you can find better accommodations. I did not like the roaches running around the floor. The toilet stopped up and the handle was broken. more

El Rio Lodge is one of the least expensive places to stay near Zion National Park. It is pretty good for the money; but there are certain problems. For one it could be cleaner. You are encouraged and have to run the tap for a loooonnnnnggg time to get any hot water. That is not acceptable in a desert location.... more
