I booked a room using the TripAdvisor app on the morning of my arrival. I was happy to see that it was vacant, as the whole park area was packed. While I was checking in, already on my way to the room with the host, Kieran, he had asked whether we were a party of two and I informed him... More

The Novel House is designed as a adult retreat and has operated as such for 20 years. We adore kids and have two young children ourselves, however the Inn is just not set up to accommodate them. All of this is clearly stated in our policies section which this individual electronically signed and agreed to prior to his arrival. Also,... More

My trip to Zion National Park was last minute. As soon as I come to reserving hotels I realize the choices of chain hotels are not limited but very expensive. Even Motel 6 would cost an arm and an leg. My usual choice of Hilton property is the same. I figure if I am gong to be hiking 5-6 hours... More

My husband and I stayed at The Novel House Inn at Zion, in Springdale, UT from June 6th through the 10th. What a beautiful B&B. It was within walking distance to the shuttle that goes to the entrance of Zion National Park. Centrally located and within walking distance to many restaurants, shops and galleries. On arrival, Kirin, the manager, greeted... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this lovely, unique inn. The innkeeper couldn't have been more gracious and personable. Accommodations were superior. Travel from the inn to the National Park is very easy via a free shuttle bus that runs frequently. Great restaurants nearby. Innkeeper provides for breakfasts at local restaurants.

For our first trip to Zion, my wife and I attempted to secure lodging at the Zion Lodge inside the National Park. Fortunately, it was completely booked for the desired three nights. Because we have always enjoyed staying in B&Bs, my trip advisor search ultimately led me to the Novel House Inn. We could not have been happier with the... More

What a charming B&B this was. The owner is right on-site (house next to the B&B). The location is amazing. Springdale is a small city and this B&B is close to several places to eat and shop – like very short walk. No need to drive anywhere in Springdale, everything is so close! {But set back far enough off the... More

Look no further - we won't stay anywhere else in Springdale / Zion. This was our first trip, and the Novel House and the very accommodating host, Ciaran, made it even more special. Each room is decorated along a theme recognizing an author. We were generously upgraded to the Bronte room because I indicated in our reservation that we were... More

I stayed in the Walt Whitman suite and it was a great experience. Ciaran greeted us by name upon check-in and offered exceptional personal service throughout our stay. He was definitely very knowledgeable about Springdale and Zion National Park. The Inn is in a perfect location. It's set well off from the main street (which has quite a bit of... More

This place made us feel like we are home or staying at best friends's house. As other reviewers state, this Inn is very unique that each room has famous author's name and decorated accordingly. We stayed at C.S. Lewis, author of "Narnia series." We had Queen size bed, writing desk, high back chairs to relax, and daybed...and big wardrobe which... More

After a tiring drive it was great to be greeted by Ciaran who took our bags yup the stirs to the room. Good introduction and explanation about everything in Zion! We had a good room, good facilities, seemed to keep a little too warm at night but nothing serious. Spotless, and a good cleaning each day. Enjoyed the cookies. The... More
